My MBA experience in Kolkata
College Infrastructure
I studied MBA in International Transport & Logistics Management from this prestigious institute. Auditorium, lecture hall, Air conditioning smart classrooms, college canteen, cafeteria, central library and computer lab were available in our college.
Academics
Basically management related subjects like data analysis, logistics management, communication, international trade route, buisness strategy planning and analysis were core parts of our syllabus. Faculty members were very knowledgeable.
Placements
Thirty five students including me from our batch got placement in this year. Most of the students got job as a shipping companies desk job, logistical and data analyst. Average package after getting job was 7-8 LPA.

The college has provided the students all types of basic necessities and facilities like library canteens conference hall staff rooms waiting area but the buildings are not that well maintained and the wifi connection is really bad.
Academics
I am studying BA economics and the quality of teaching is good but it could be better like more resources and skills should be added in order to make the curriculum more updated and i think the current curriculum don't make us job ready.
Placements
The placement rate is also not very high and the placements that took place their packages are not much I think the highest package is approximately 8 lpa which is very low in current times as compared to other big colleges however the college has its own placement cell which helps in leading the students.
Campus Life
Campus life is fun and lively as the college has many clubs where students with different unique interests can join and showcase their talents and the college also conducts various types of competitions programs and activities very frequently

The college is best for saving your money if you are looking for a lenient casual environment then this college is for you however if u are serious about your studies then I suggest going to a different big college

College infrastructure is toh luxurious honestly. Doesn’t feel depressing at all. It is big and the ventilation is great. All corridors and rooms are air conditioned. Infrastructure of MUJ is definitely 10/10
Academics
The teachers are supportive and explain the concept with good examples. They cater to the doubts of students patiently and elaborately. The academics is fast paced. We have some kind of exams almost every month. The faculty is good
Placements
The placement at our college is decent. I feel the top formers do achieve good exciting placement. However it’s not demotivating at all Most of the batch is also placed through mass recruiters. At the end of the day it is all your hardwork, networking and cgpa:)

College Infrastructure
The college has decent infrastructure and provides required facilities for students. Classrooms are spacious however the availability of smartboards/projectors can vary between clasrooms. The library has a good collection of books, novels, reference texts etc and a nice, quiet environment. Wifi is provided. The campus has adequate grounds for sports and other extracurricular activities. Overall the infrastructure is adequate, but there is room for improvement in terms of technology and maintenance.
Academics
As a student of History, the course structure is what intrigued me the most. The syllabus is quite well structured and covers a plethora of topics, although it can become quite exhausting at times, making it difficult to keep up with the workload during semester exams. The professors are knowledgeable,very experienced and clarify concepts very well.
Placements
There is not much emphasis on campus placements at least for courses like History. Students generally have to explore opportunities on their own. While academics are provided well, i feel that better campus placements could be provided for students' transition into the job sector.
Campus Life
Campus life at SAC is quite active and engaging with plenty of opportunities for students to participate beyond academics only. Theres several clubs and student associations covering different interests. This helps in bringing students of varying departments together. The college regularly organises food fests, club fests, cultural programmes, seminars, competitions.

College Infrastructure
MBA ITLM course was not residential course as per IMU guidelines. College infrastructure was overall good. Auditorium, assembly hall, basketball & volleyball court, large playground, a small park, college canteen and computer lab were in good condition in our college premises.
Academics
Professors and HOD mam were very knowledgeable and experienced. They helped us in practical lab. Buisness management, logistics, reasoning, route analysis, transport system were main fundamental parts of our syllabus.
Placements
In our batch, 90% students got placement after completing MBA in International Transport and logistics management from this college. Desk job, port agent, logistics department in port were main job role after placement.

my college has most of all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment as a biochemistry department students. in the laboratories , libraries sports and centres we don’t get good wifi connection

academics is overall fine as far as my experience and it is good to study in this college the weather is also nice here for a fresh start and great energy which is required for studies . i feel very happy to a student of this college

placements are not that good because we don’t get direct placements from our college as a biochemistry student i feel like bachelors is not enough to secure a placement minimum masters is required for better opportunities.

campus life is awesome it is filled with greenery and very peaceful environment but the problem is that the campus is so small in compare to the number of students i think campus could be a bit bigger

Wi-Fi is not provided to students. We have two canteens and food is good and hygiene is highly maintained the college provide all the facilities like computer labs tennis court digital boards and the hygiene is also maintained well here

BA English is very interesting and I chose this because I like reading and literature and this college has provided us with all the necessary resources and study materials the quality of teaching is also good and the professors are good and supportive
Placements
The placement packages are not that high here they’re below average as compared to other big college or universities even though the college has its own dedicated placement cell which provide students necessary skills and guide them

Infrastructure is good but changes and modifications would be appreciated. Wifi is really bad. Campus is hygienic and clean. Playground could be bigger. Older scientific instruments could be replaced by new ones.

Biotechnology department is DBT funded, hence it is affordable. It is one of the best institutes that teaches biotechnology. Curriculum is updated and provides us with necessary information. Everything is updated but not AI ready yet. Extra papers and VTC programs makes us job ready.

The placement criteria is average not that high the companies that came here are very rarely and the highest package is approximately 8 lpa which is not that high even though the college has its own dedicated placement cell

Campus life of this college is fun engaging and lively the college hosts various events programs and fun activities very frequently where studcan showcase their talents and skills so campus life is really good here we also have many clubs for different fields

the infrastructure of this college is good and well maintained this college provides their students and teachers all the basic necessities and facilities like library reception counters canteens basketball court waiting rooms staff rooms etc. also the washrooms canteens as well as the food are all hygienic and clean the variety of food provided by the canteens are various and the food is tasty the only thing is that the Wi-Fi connection at some places is good but at some places it's not that good

i am a b.com student and my minor is bba i am interested in business and marketing field hence i am studying this course according to me the curriculum is updated but it`s based on nehu guidelines so whatever the university wants to include or deduct the college has to follow that i wouldn`t say that it includes all the developments because business environment is very dynamic and it`s very hard to pace with that our curriculum could be better if they teach us necessary skills along with our courses like ai skills, ms excel, power bi etc

this college has its own placement cell to help and guide students in their career and placements the top recruiters are from IT and customer services sectors like TCS wipro vedanta google etc. the highest package offered here is upto 8 lpa something but the college is supportive towards students

For me, all this college building and infrastructure is basic not that advance or highly structured like they charges the fees.somehow, i still said that there are all facilities ac, smartboards, wifi, and hygienic classrooms , labs. There are also hostles for girls and boys and even i am also a hosteler so i would hostels and mess are average with basic and necessary facilities.

There is a proper regular classes of every subject and courses and very strict criteria of 75% attendance as an MBA student, there is so much strictness toward attendance and maintaining it otherwise you will be detain and not allowed for sitting in the exam and you have to pay the money again to attempt it again. Otherwise, Teaching quality is between good and average.

Placements are so much in the pressure.They gives lots of stress to us even no good company comes in the college for placement as they want to place the students only fir sales roles mostly and pressurize them to give consent for these companies, so this is the most disgusted thing.

I am studying AI and ML branch and it's worth it. Our year curriculum has been updated and more content was added. We are able to learn more theory and then do it practically in labs (some of them )).

Placements are okay, not too good. Highest salary is 10LPA last year. Placements process is only a little tough especially when filtering through cpga basis. And coding rounds are more, the placement preparation is also okay.

Best feature is connecting with peers from different places, worst is there is no much scope in sports only few are present. Location is very good and accessible for emergency.

The campus life ans super super susuper wonderful, when I first visit and see the campus I was amazed by it and I got a little bit emotional aafter watching campus, iit offers antiragging ffacility , ddon't worry to think that senior will do ragging.
