I don't know much placement...but I have heard about it from our seniors...and as per them the placement is really great...almost 90% students were placed last year..the highest package was for computer science... The infrastructure of the college is quite average. It has well installed AC in the laboratories and cleanliness is also maintained but there is no place for extra curriculum activities or any sport. Everything is good apart from the washrooms which sometimes have no water supply.

I'm currently perusing for BCA. The faculty and the staff is the best part about this college. The teachers are friendly and are always available for any query. Everything which falls under this course is been taught to us and a proper guidance is also provided by the teachers. The syllabus provided by the university is also updated.

The rate of placement is good in this college as compared to others. A lot of students get placed every year with an average package of 2.8-3.5lpa (maximum 10lpa). About 40-45% students are offered placement. Companies like TCS, HCL, Wipro also reach out to find interns. The placement percentage of BBA is higher than that of BCA. National institute of technology rourkela is the largest college after iit kgp. It has good greenery all round..it has good wifi connection, a large library and spacious hostels. We could get a peaceful village environment .

The professors are good and are very much welcome to clear our conceptual doubts. They are caring for our academics even in online mode....give us assignment regularly discuss in the class and clarify doubts. They re-explain the concept if any single student was not able to understand it which is quite important. This even reflects their patience. Apart from studies we can even access extracurricular activities. There are different clubs for different interests.

The college welcomes many MNCs . The highest package comes to 42 lakhs ctc. And the average goes to about 14lakh ctc There is almost 90% placement. A student finds an opportunity to bag a good internship.

CTC was 42..and only in b.tech there were 499 job offers..so i have a positive opinion about the process here.
