Academics matters of our college is average because there no much permanent faculties for students, college management appoints some guest faculties for year basis contract and some of them got appointed because of someone's favours

Our college has classrooms with digital boards, WIFI facility at department as well as hostel, air conditioners. Canteen and gym facilities are available. Library are well maintained and accessible to every one. Hostel rooms are good and hostel food is tasty and hygienic.

I studied MBA in this college and the quality of teaching is good as professors are reliable and knowledged people. But only drawback is irregular classes and the curriculum is not updated and includes all the recent developments in the field.

The quality of placements is not that good only few percentage of the students were placed through on campus placements and the average package one can expect is around 2-3 LPA and college and our seniors are very supportive.

Cause this has top quality and most experienced faculty members. Maximum teachers are well qualified some of them has PHD and Maximum has masters to teach us. With best quality of education it has also focus on the activities of students with various cocarricular activities. They teach and give us knowledge how to make yourself an employer in college life.

Good quality of placements has been provided to all the students. 50% to 70% of students have been placed. Average package starts from 3 LPA and maximum goes upto 5.5 LPA. This has a wide range of multinational companies like Cipla, Cadila, Abott etc.

This college has a wide range of campus to get relaxation after the study, it has two parks for evening walks, As there are students from various states, so, there are many more cultural activities were done by the students. Average placements, 10k around. Last year 100 percent is placed , but lacks good companies and those who take on bulk. Highest was 22k. It was okay , process was basic and easy but not the best quality.

Best features - no hostel timing curfew, 24/7 library, canteen, freedom, committees , clubs , forums etc totally a student driven campus. All of the staff are really good and helpful. Location is bit a problem , 35kms from city.

College infrastructure is not good , facilities provided by the college is way more less and not proper, and equipments are less and not well maintained. Classrooms are ok not that much big and there is no facility of AC in classes. There is no laboratories in college, it's a management college. Wifi facility is poor and smart boards are not work properly. Living spaces is clean and yes the food is hygienic.

Academics of this college is top, I would say the best faculty is in this college related to management. Currently I am pursuing MBA Integrated from this college , quality of teaching is beyond thinking excellent. Yes I think that my curriculum is updated and yes whatever I study right now make me job ready.

Quality of placements of this college is very good, many good companies comes every in campus for the placement process. Around 80-90% of students got placed every year from this college. The highest salary offered by college is around 22 lpa and lowest is 4 lpa. No the placement process is not so easy but yes college is very supportive in this case .

College campus is the only bad factor of this college , small campus . My experience I would say is average . Most of the students are engaged in cricket and football . Yes the teachers, staff and the students are supportive. Location is Selaqui dehradun safe location. Yes easily it can handle emergencies.

One of the best among all NITs in terms of infrastructure for labs, advanced research equipment and other activities like sports, extra curriculars etc. Classrooms are spacious and plenty in number. Library is huge, may be the largest in Odisha. There are a 8 boys hostels and 2 ladies hostels. All are equipped with LAN and have separate messes. Food is a very subjective thing hence can't but comment but I personally never had any issues with the mess food,

Quality of academics is pretty good if not the best. Almost all faculty members are PhDs from reputed institutes both from India and abroad. NIT Rourkela has the highest research output in terms of publications in peer reviewed journals and total number of citations. Academic Curriculum was recently updated to make it for flexible and match industry standards. Biggest negative point is the ultra stringent attendance policy with 85% mandatory attendance in classes.
Placements
Decent placements if not outstanding. Only major disadvantage is location. Lack of a functional airport in Rourkela acts as an obstacle for some companies to visit campus. Average CTC approximately 7 LPA in my batch with highest being 42 LPA.

Very big campus (approx 1200 acres). Almost all facilities available inside campus but not much to do outside.

I'm studying MBA in marketing and the majority of the teachers in college are from IIMs, IITs, SIBM Pune, and NMIMS. The curriculum is made exactly according to the industry standards and everything from excel to PowerBi is included in the curriculum.

The college has an above-average placement of 9.6 the majority of the students get the package between 8.25 lakhs to 10 lakhs. However the placement is 100% from the last 2 years lakhs, and finally yes majority of the big names such as KPMG, Deloitte, TCS and Accenture visit our campus every year.

I studied BTech Electronics and communication here. The faculty is dedicated, and the BTech Electronics and Communication program provides a good foundation. However, there's room for improvement in the curriculum's alignment with industry needs and practical learning opportunities.

I am studying PGDM General. The curriculum is up to date and keeps on getting updated as and when required. The curriculum they teach here is all aligned with the industry only. Major focus is on practical learning.
