I was personally extremely happy with the infrastructure facilities that we got at MNIT especially the sports section of all. MNIT has well built and maintained courts and grounds. But I think the basketball court can be improved a little.

I feel the curriculum is good enough to cover most of the important things but you need to read beyond on your own to excel and make yourself job-ready. Faculties are well qualified and supportive if you seek them for help and guidance.

About 80% of students from this department got placed with an average package of 6.58 LPA and highest package 12.93 LPA. But the number of core companies is 5-7, so students also get placed at non-core companies which are open to all branches like Goldman Sachs, Fractal Analytics, etc.

The best thing is the sports facilities where you are free to play and the canteens within the campus add to the fun. The only thing that disturbs me is the in-timings of the girls' hostel. There should be campus in-time, not hostel in-time.

Our university has good college infrastructure, Class rooms are digitalized and WIFI facility is available in the department and hostel area. Canteen and gym facilities are available in campus. Hostel food is hygienic and tasty and for people interested in sports all sports court are available.

Academics are average but quality of teaching is very good, there are 3 professors and 4 temporary in our department who give a good guidance to the students. But curriculum is not updated with the recent developments they follow old one only.

There are not many opportunities provided by through on campus placements, only 2 to 3 companies will come and recruit approximately 10-15 students and others have to try off campus placements and the average package on can expect is 2-3 LPA.
