I'm studying Btech third year in Cse. Our academics are good. The lectures are all experienced with senior lecturers having 10-20 years of experience of teaching and junior lecturers having a minimum of 5 years of teaching experience. They are quite passionate and puts their utmost in teaching students. They prepare students with all the technical skills nedded to get placed in top tech industries. The lab assistants and every staff is very friendly and cooperative.

The college has training and placements cell that brings best opportunities for students. The fees should be paid from 2nd year to final year yearly as 3000 in 2nd year, 4000 in 3rd and 4th years. This college has a very large campus with unique facilities like a boating club, a nursery, a temple and a outdoor classroom. These kind of facilities are not seen in any other college. The college also has quotes written on hoardings along the footpath, the main purpose is to motivate students. There are various blocks in the campus and a huge indoor stadium. Food courts and juice points are the main gathering places for students. Overall the campus is student friendly.

The college has unique branches such as Chemical, Biomedical and Pharmaceutical. I am from biomedical branch. The branch deals with medical equipment which has huge demand in countries like USA and Canada but is very less known in our country. In biomedical engineering we are trained to work. Our subjects are a good combination of electronics with medical subjects. The faculty are always available for interactions and will help in any matter related to the college.

The placement team of the college is very keen is getting students placed in various companies. I am a biomedical student who got placed in CTS as one of my interests in coding. This shows how flexible a student is when he wants to get placed in a desired job role. Our branch even had a drive by Capgemini for biomedical engineering students only which shows that the college is also focused in core placements. In this college there are abundant opportunities given the student has to grab them.

Regular one-on-one doubt sessions are held at least thrice a week for every subject with a robust discussion portal working 24x7. Access to an online library is enabled for all online degree students. IITM has frequently conducted offline and online meet-ups and online cultural events. With encouragement from IITM many student clubs have come up.
