I am studying BE CSE and the quality of teaching is perfect and we all get a clear cut of understanding. They all teach in projector . They teach us very well . How many times we ask them doubt they will clarify the doubts and that help all us to get good marks.

Placement are also good as i studied in chemical engineering branch which was on an average placements of 80 to 85%. The remaining was selected higher studies or choose own startup or business. Campis life is as good as you not think for it at all. As per my experience it was so nice to have campus like nirma University as campus is too big and full of greenary i am delighted yo be there. It is so peaceful and that's why learning as well as any other activities or programs are complete by very sweet and silent mannered.

I am studying Computer Engineering. The quality is not very good, they will teach you basic stuff and it is not a very hands-on approach which is required in the field of Computer Enginerring. The curriculum is well thought of but again the level of teaching is not up to the mark in some subjects. Yeah, the syllabus makes for job-ready as there is the inclusion of DS/ALgo, DBMS, OOPS and OS which are generally asked during the interviews.

The placement is not up to the level in terms of the fees and considering the reputation of the college. Very few reputed companies visit PDPU for placements in the field of Computer Engineering. There are many local companies (From Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar) that provide placement on the campus.

Lady Irwin college has a beautiful campus with a red brick building as seen mostly in all du affiliated colleges with a beautiful lush green lawn in both its side . The building is well ventilated . Classrooms are spacious . Wifi facility is available in the CRC and also in the hostel . The laboratories are well equipped with all the things required to perform the practical and to impart practical based knowledge to the students .

I am doing Bsc Home Science from Lady Irwin college .This is a three year professional course which cover various aspects of learning . The teaching not only focus on theoretical concepts but also on the practicals . After every semester we are offered with different sets of subjects to give a glimpse of all the 5 departments . I don't think that the college provides any placements . Although it has its own placement cell . But yes one can do various internships at the masters level . And definately at an individual level students do get the desired jobs because of the increasing demand of the subjects.

The campus is situated in a very posh area all surrounded by the greenery . The best part is it is very near to Mandi House metro station . It is near to India Gate and Cannaught Place . One can visit the places even by walking . The environment of the campus is really safe even for the hostellers .

Many institutions like TCS , Wipro , etc approach our college for placement. The placement activity is primarily managed by placement commitee including faculties from various departments . In the 2017-2018 about 30% of the total students participated were selected . Sorry I cannot say about the salary or about the interview because I have never been on the interview .

See the college campus has all kinds of facilities like well accomodated classrooms with proper ventilation, canteen and ground for playing football or cricket whichever is preferable. Our students union organises inter-college football matches. Annual sports is organised every year in Deshopriyo Park . It gets some time to get used to a new environment but when you get to know them it's bliss. The college campus is located in a safe secured region around Golpark .

Bengal Institute of Technology, Kolkata, our college might be just a building or two, but the environment is amazing. 7 km away from the city, right in the heart of greenery and nature, our college has all the basic infrastructures that facilitates our time in college. Our labs are well equipped, from the science labs to our technical labs. The classrooms in the topmost floors have air conditioners that make it easier for us during summer. The canteen is extremely clean and the food is good.
Academics
Our teachers are excellent. They give us all their time and patience to explain us the topics of discussion. Special attention is given to our lab classes, as practical approach is extremely important for engineering students. If any student fails to understand anything from the lesson, the teachers are always ready to explain the same a hundred million times so that he/she is able to understand everything. They always make us feel like home.

BiT has one of the best placements compared to other technology colleges. The placement process begins from 6th semester itself (i.e., second half of 3rd year). Almost every to all students get placed by the final year. From Cognizant to Capgemini to TCS or Wipro, you name it and we have every company waiting for our students. I haven't been through placement process yet, but what I've heard the average salary is very good indeed.

Life at BiT is extremely good. The symbiosis between the teachers, students and staff is very kind and cordial and friendly. Our college is located 7km away from the city, maximum students use public buses to reach college, our college provides bus facilities as well, some use that too. Our college is in a safe place, police station, fire station are near, hospital is a bit far but doesn't take much time to reach.

Lpu has a auditorium which has seating capacity of around 5000.
