The crowd of the college is really good like lot of interactive people and teachers are nice too there is no issue of attendance The only thing college lacks is in infrastructure which is not good but when your with the right kind of crowd everything seems good
I'm very well satisfied with the teachers they are caring and nice occasionally if you do something they might react otherwise they seem to be really nice and helpful and would highly suggest you to join this college
Like I'm a freshers I'm not very knowledge about placements but seeing few of my senior's get one I believe it's okayish but you just need to put ur mind and hardwork into getting one cause company do come but they don't offer it to random people
Is fun and outgoing you can find people of your kind and go out to places and hangout
N/A
not that good infrastructure but they are improving construction is happening in our college I hope it improves soon and other than this size wise it is good and some buildings are improving day by day
I am studying ba economics + history and the quality of teaching is same in whole DU circuit as I know it is good but has some flaws in subjects part but other than that core subject teachers are good and are really helpful
I don't know much about this I am just in 1st year of college but as I have heard the placement is pretty decent recently I myself got an internship of 12k from placement self itself don't know much about the average salary
campus life is good and if you are open to new things and to interact activities and society are there to enjoy and play with students teachers and support staff are also chill location is also great canteen is big I like it overall
overall if you got this college you can study here environment is good
Necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment prior to a course are available. However they are not well maintained and there can be more improvement and updation to that. Students often face problems with wifi availability, that's a huge issue as it affects students work.
I have been in this university for a year now, there are students who are genuinely interested in their choice of career and are highly ambitious. As a psychology student, I have been with enthusiastic students and much supportive teacher. It's a great choice if one has to focus on academics.
Not much aware about placement, since I am in second year. However based on whatever I have heard, specifically about my field, they aren't really good for one to settle a job that pays handsome salary. One must really on their own hardwork and efforts.
There is a lot of engagement. There is always some events going on which keep students busy and engaged. Students do enjoy that as well. However when it comes to the administration, it's really unstable. They often make mistakes in management that affects the students. Like problem in seating plans for exams, poor communication between a specific school and examination cell which cause huge misalignment and students have to bear that. Teachers are supportive and friendly enough, however in some departments, there aren't highly qualified teachers. Though in psychology, there are well- qualified teachers.
College infrastructure is not as good as expected. The AC doesn't work at times and also in some classes internet doesn't even exist. Wifi too isnt available and we aren't able to access study materials online in class. Also the timetable schedule is chaotic.
Overall academics in theory is okay. But the practicals are not as much expected because psychology is a practical subject rather than theoritical. I wish there are more psychology practicals conducted and we gain hands on experience.
For psychology there are NIL placements. I have never seen anyone come from psychology background or hire for any roles that are for psychology field. I wish the University incorporates placement companies for psych students as well.
Campus life ... There are so much students in university. There isn't any space to travel around so either we go home or stay in a class. So yeah.. they just prioritise filling the university rather than providing any campus life.
I don't have much to add... I just wish if we are not getting any placements from the college... So we shouldn't be stopped from doing internships by searching on our own. Faculties should understand this and provide us NOC. Also introduce MA for clinical psychology as well.
My college infrastructure is very large the campus is very large in area it's in acres. The campus infrastructure is great, and the labs, canteen, and classrooms are very spacious. Canteen provides good delicious meals, and it has Wi-Fi facilities also.
The faculty members are good and are always ready to help the students and enhance their career. The faculty members will teach you lots of things and will give a clear exposure of industry and are the good counsellor for the students, who want the suggestions.
Every year, companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Jaro Education, Policy Bazar, Epic Research, Capgemini visit the campus to hire students. Only a few companies are well known which come for hiring like Byjus, Policy Bazar, but also they don't offer enough package for fresher.
College is well occupied with all the necessary infrastructure but the campus is not so big and have only one small playground. Each class has around 70 students which sometimes feels more congusted.
I have opted for Computer Science And Engineering as that was the most popular course at that time but for the upcoming students I will recommend to take or do some AIML course. Teaching is excellent but there will be some exceptions.
There are many companies coming for the campus selection some of the top companies are Apple, Microsoft, Google, Oracle, Adobe, etc. But the students who are the best in academics can be eligible for that companies. There is 80% placement rate and an average of 7-10 lakh per annum.
Campus life is not that excellent but not that worse too. We have many things to do and participate in such as games events and so on. But to join a particular sports you need to have some pre participation certificate and all. College is very safely located in the heart of the Bengaluru City and have arrangements to handle any situations.
Overall the college is best for the students who are really welling to do something at the same time there are many distractions which one have to avoid. If you are coming from government seats then you can join but I personally feel joining through management is not worth.
My experience at Sphoorthy Engineering College was enriching and fulfilling. The college has provided a vibrant academic environment, with knowledgeable faculty members who were always supportive. The campus facilities were modern and well-maintained, offering a conducive atmosphere for learning. Additionally, the college’s emphasis on holistic development through extracurricular activities and community engagement enhanced my overall college experience. Overall, Sphoorthy Engineering College a positive impression, and I would highly recommend it to others seeking quality education in a nurturing environment.
The faculty are good and very helpful. Their teaching quality is good. They provide good knowledge to us. Proper seating arrangements are provided. Proper learning environment is available. Exams are not difficult because the teachers are good. My passing percentage is 80%.
The College is promising in Placements, they support in terms of internships and job placements. Our College is a well-rounded institution that offers a comprehensive education in a beautiful setting with an potential to become a top-tier educational destination.
Campus Life is very cheerful. One can get anything what he wants .There sports facilities both indoor and outdoor. There many clubs to boost your extra curricular activities like public speaking, poetry writing, Coding etc
I would suggest the aspiring students to come and experience the decent education with decent fee structure. Every student will be taken care and follow up the parents regarding their progress. Environment is mesmerising and peaceful.
Our collage has good infrastructure with clean and good maintanence with full of greenary covered with trees and each branch has different blocks and best place in our collage is library with peaceful environment
Academic studies in mohan babu collage is somewhat better compared to other collages.trainers will be there for giving placement training and experienced trainers will come for third and fourth year students.
Coming to placements this collage far better compared to other collages as this collage is collaborated with various companies and many students placed in various companies . according to placements this collage is one of the good opportunity
As campus life is good which we can enjoy with friends.
This college has a clean, spacious and student friendly infrastructure. Well-planned with separate buildings for different departments. Smart classrooms with projectors and best of technology for better understanding.
BIMHRD provides good study resources, including a well-equiped library, digital notes and access to online learning platforms. They conduct seminars, guest lectures and workshops with professional from different field.
The training and placement cell is active, supportive and works throughout the year to connect students with good companies. Companies offering roles in IT, Finance, Marketing, consulting. Overall it has good placement rate.
It is decent but hostels are limited so in 3rd we are living in sharing room and network is very poor . The campus is made on top of hill so there is connectivity issue there is tower but that is of no use .
Its avg there are labs but not that good and attendance above 75 is mandatory for all id you fail get above 75 you will be not able to give exam of that subject it there are courses which needs lab but there no labs fo them.
For CSE and ECE its good but for other branches its poor ME and SM have to study IT subjects if they want to get placement there are very low chances of getting into even now 1-2 company visit campus.
There are many wild animals which roam in campus eo its dangerous to roam outside at night
Attendance is very strict if yours is below 75 then you can’t give exam this is the poorest thing here and mess food is also not good
My college is very great ..it's a better place for everyone who wanna achieve success in life ahead..the teachers are all good and supportive..they behave as friend and help in studying..there are many curricular activities also that enhances our growth in different fields also
My college is very great ..it's a better place for everyone who wanna achieve success in life ahead..the teachers are all good and supportive..they behave as friend and help in studying..there are many curricular activities also that enhances the experience and growth of us in many fields ..
There are great placements from our college ahead..student who wanna take a great job and have to be successful can go ahead..there are many subjects in which you can put your effort and then in life ahead..
This college has a good infrastructure, with laboratories of all kinds, a library full of books, separate hostels for girls and boys. It has 4 blocks, and almost all the classes have a functioning smart screen.
The college is extremely serious in terms of academics. Almost no classes are skipped. I am pursuing my psychology degree from here and the teachers teach wonderfully, they have deep knowledge about the subject and they try to make each class more interesting than the other.
We have a dedicated placement cell for all the placements and they are very approachable, there are multiple opportunities we are constantly informed about and urged to go and give the interviews. Multiple people get placed every year.
There are multiple events that take place in the college along with events from different clubs and societies. There is something or the other always happening in the college. There is also sports available for everyone.
My college has every facility that a college student must have, and they are being used by students on daily basis i.e Sports, Labs, Auditorium, Mess etc. They are being watched and maintained too . And there are many infrastructure that are being developed. Living place is very good and the food is also very hygienic.
I’m doing B.Tech in CSE with specialisation in AI, and the reason i chose it because I grew interest in Computer Science in my eleventh and twelfth and I decided it to take it further and build my carrier in it. And the quality of teaching is excellent as the curriculum is much more aligned with the needs of industry and for future technologies.
Quality of Placement of my college is very good .Many Big companies come here like Wipro, Amazon ,Tata Motors, Patym etc. 1.2 cr was the highest salary package offered. 7 is the average salary offered
My experience in this is very good . People are good and genuine. Crowd is good . People of different states are here . Overall it is good.
1. My college have an good infrastructure. Good condition of classrooms , hygenic Washrooms , staffrooms . And hostel facility is available , labs for the science students are also available there . Hygenic Living space and canteen also available
I persued BCOM from the college and my teachers are very friendly with students and guide everything . Yes the curriculum of the college is updated to new and recently established new education polices and everything happens as per the guidance of the policies.
Everything in my college seems good but the placement rate is low only 15 percent of the total students get placed and rest don't get placement. Local firms and local companies came and take students as per there requirement.
As a PGDM BFS student at IMI, i found campus and hostel are full of facilities, the classes are advanced. Hostels are small for girls but food in mess and flavours is bland and repetitive, though housing staff is great
As someone from BFS, the course outline for both the years is very hefty. The subjects are totally focussed to finance. However some improvement are required in terms of subjects allotted in the second year
Placements provide enough opportunities for the students here, so it totally depends on how actively you can take them, especially for CORE and BFS because the placements are umbrella for both. Companies like Goldman, JPMC etc visits the campus in the placement season for finance
the college infrastructure is well developed, providing clean facilities, comfortable study space and also modern labs and well stocked library that supports a quality learning experience. there are also sports facilities and open space that encourage student to participate in physical activities and stay active.
i choose CSE course due to my interest in the subject and career growth opportunities. the teaching quality is too good, and the faculty are supportive. Regular tests and assignment and projects help in better understanding of concept.
the placement opportunities in the college are good, with many companies visiting the compus. the placement cell supports student with training, mock interviews and guidence helping us prepare for jobs.
The campus life is enjoyable and interactive . there are various clubs, cultural events, and sports activities that help student relax and socialize . the campus is clean and safe , creating a friendly and positive environment.
My college has all the essential infrastructure and facilities required for a good learning environment. The classrooms are equipped with WiFi, projectors and smart boards, and the furniture is comfortable and well-maintained. The laboratories have updated equipment and are regularly used for practical sessions. The library is spacious, with a good collection of books and a peaceful study area. Sports facilities like indoor games, outdoor grounds and gym equipment are available and properly maintained. Hostel rooms are clean, and the washrooms are hygienic with regular cleaning. Overall, the campus infrastructure supports both academic and co-curricular activities effectively.
I am currently pursuing my degree in BA PSYCHOLOGY HONS WITH RESEARCH because I have a strong interest in this field and it offers good career opportunities. The quality of teaching in the college is quite good; most faculty members are knowledgeable, supportive and use interactive teaching methods. The curriculum is fairly updated and covers recent developments, with a good balance of theory and practical learning. Regular assignments, presentations and practical sessions help in building real-world skills. Overall, the academic structure is designed to improve understanding and make students job-ready, though adding more industry exposure and internships would make it even better.
The overall quality of placements at our college has been good. A decent percentage of students from most departments get placed every year. The highest salary package was offered to students from the department, while the average package remains steady and satisfactory. The placement process is smooth and well-organized, with the placement cell providing support through training sessions, resume workshops and mock interviews. They are approachable and guide students throughout the process. For me, the experience was positive and stress-free. The college continuously works to bring more companies on campus and improve career opportunities for students.
The campus life at our college is vibrant and welcoming. The best part of the campus is the clean and green environment along with spacious common areas where students can relax and interact. Various clubs, cultural events, fests, workshops and sports activities keep students engaged throughout the year. Students, teachers and support staff are friendly and supportive, which creates a positive atmosphere. The college is located in a safe area with proper security measures, CCTV cameras and emergency support available when needed. Although a few areas can get crowded during peak hours, overall the campus is comfortable, safe and full of opportunities for personal growth.
Overall, my experience at the college has been positive and fulfilling. The institution provides a good balance of academics, extracurricular activities and personal development opportunities. While there is always scope for improvement in areas like industry exposure and infrastructure upgrades, the supportive environment and dedicated faculty make the journey worthwhile. I would recommend the college to students who are looking for a healthy mix of learning and campus life.
College infrastructure is poor compare with other campuses in kollam. There is no smart class. The ground also not so, good. Library was very small compare with other campuses. But it's a fully owned by government.
The academics is an average. The curriculum is followed by kerala university it's not updated according to current industry. But the faculties are well qualified. And also there is a compulsory project for every students in this campus.
The college didn't provide any placement. It is very poor. The main reason is fully owned by government and it has no fees for students. And also, they didn't provide any placement classes or soft-skill training for the students.
There is no strict rules and regulations.
Fatima has good infrastructure compare with other colleges in Kollam. College has good classroom with fully covered wifi. And the college has good fully centralized AC library with lot of books. And also, our phycology lab was so, good.
Academics in fatima were so good. The syllabus is old, but department provide good projects and case studies according to the current industry demands. And also, students are compulsory to do a project and the exams and result have come on correct time.
College placement is the poorest area of this college. The college has a placement cell, but it didn't work well. And also, they didn't provide any training for placement and for soft - skills. Placement is so bad.
The college is known for its modern and clean aesthetics; in fact, its tall white building is often used for movie and TV show shootings. The classrooms are spacious, and the library is well-stocked with high-speed Wi-Fi available on most floors. However, the campus is relatively small (around 3.5–4 acres). While basic gymkhana facilities exist, the major drawback is the lack of a large, dedicated sports ground for cricket or football, which can be a turn-off for sports enthusiasts.
Academics at SLRTCE are strictly disciplined. The college maintains a firm 75% attendance policy, which forces students to stay on top of their studies. The teaching quality is excellent for the Computer Science and IT branches, where professors are qualified and utilize updated PPTs and study materials. However, for core branches like Mechanical or Civil, the quality is often described as average or inconsistent. The curriculum strictly follows Mumbai University standards, providing a solid theoretical base but sometimes lacking the industry-specific project work found in autonomous institutes.
The placement cell is proactive, especially in the IT sector. Average packages typically fall in the ₹3.5 to ₹4.5 LPA range, with top recruiters like TCS, Capgemini, and LTI visiting regularly. While the college advertises high outlier packages (even 1 Crore+ off-campus), the reality for the majority is standard entry-level service roles. Placement stats have shown a slight dip in the percentage of students placed (around 40-60% depending on the year), so students often need to upskill independently to stand out.
Campus life is vibrant during the annual fests like Utsav and Spotlight, which are well-managed and high on energy. The location offers good nearby hangouts like McDonald’s and movie theaters within walking distance. However, outside of fest seasons, the environment is strictly academic.
