48 MonthsBachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Nursing is a four-year and 6 months full-time program that is the undergraduate level in the nursing course offered by Tamil Nadu Dr MGR Medical University, Chennai, and approved by the Indian Nursing Council (INC).
Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates belonging to all categories for admission to the B.Sc. degree course in Nursing (Basic) should have passed the qualifying examinations (academic stream) after a period of 12 years of study with the following subjects of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology or Botany & Zoology
- The eligibility for the B.sc Nursing Course is 10+2 examination pass with 45% of marks for BC /MBC and 40% for SC/ST in English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Botany & Zoology.17 years of completed age at the time of admission.
- Candidates from states other than Tamil Nadu must procure a migration certificate from a previous University/ Board and an Eligibility certificate from Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University.
- Eligibility certificate must be obtained before the 31st of August from Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University.
Admission Details
As per the guidelines of the Selection Committee, Directorate of Medical Education, Chennai, the Govt quota seats (65% of Total seats) will be filled by the Govt based on merit and Govt norms. Management quota (35%) seats will be filled through entrance examinations conducted by the college.
