Master of Engineering (ME) in Structural Engineering is a two-year full-time postgraduate program recognized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and offered by the Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University, Amravati.
Admission Process
Admission Based on GATE Entrance exam.
Eligibility Criteria
For Maharashtra State Candidates
(i) The Candidate should be an Indian National; (ii) Passed Bachelor Degree in the relevant field of Engineering and Technology from All India Council for Technical Education or Central or State Government approved institutions or equivalent, with at least 50% marks (at least 45% marks in case of candidates of Backward class categories and persons with disability belonging to Maharashtra State only); (iii) Passed Bachelor Degree in the relevant course of Engineering and Technology as specified in the eligibility criteria for admission to a Post Graduate Degree course of the concerned University for which admission is being sought; (iv) An obtained score in Graduates Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) conducted by Indian Institute of Technology; (Or) (iv) For sponsored candidates, minimum of two years of full time work experience in a registered firm/ company/industry/ educational and/ or research institute/ any Government Department or Government Autonomous Organization in the relevant field in which admission is being sought.
Children of NRI / OCI / PIO, Children of Indian workers in the Gulf countries, Foreign National
(i) Passed Bachelor Degree in the relevant field of Engineering and Technology from All India Council for Technical Education or Central or State Government approved institutions or equivalent, with at least 50 % marks; (ii) Passed Bachelor Degree in the relevant course of Engineering and Technology as specified in the eligibility criteria for admission to a Post Graduate Degree course of the concerned University for which admission is being sought
Candidates belonging to Persons with Disability
In addition to the basic qualification mentioned above, candidate who is suffering from any one of the following permanent disabilities is eligible to seek admission against seats reserved for Persons with Disability candidates (i.e. Candidate who is visually impaired (blind) Candidate type- P1, Candidate who is speech & hearing impaired (deaf & dumb) Candidate type- P2, Candidate who has orthopaedic disorders, learning disabilities, Dyslexia, Dyscalculia, Dysgraphica, Spastic Candidate type -P3), provided they submit a certificate (Proforma F/F-1) clearly stating that the percentage of disability is not less than 40% and the disability is of permanent nature.
