24 MonthsDiploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) is a two-year full-time diploma program offered by the State Council of Educational Research and Training, New Delhi, and approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates seeking admission to D.El.Ed. The course must have been passed Senior School Certificate Examination (10+2) of CBSE or its equivalent examination from any other recognized Board/University. The minimum percentage of marks in the qualifying examination required for admission to D.EL.ED. The course is 50% in aggregate. For calculating the percentage of marks of the 10+2 examination conducted by CBSE, the best 5 subjects, including at least one language, will be considered.
The maximum age cannot be more than 24 years as on 30th September, 2025.
5 years relaxation of age in upper limit is allowed for candidates belonginto g and applying the categories of Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, and Persons with Disability (PwD) only, subject to submission of a certificate from a competent authority.
Admission Details
The admission to the D.El.Ed. The programme will be based on the applicant's rank in the Online Computer-Based Test (CBT). Online allocation of seats will be done based on the institute Choices as submitted by applicants, based on their Rank in the respective category/Subcategory. Candidates will be allocated seats provisionally based on the form submitted.
