36 MonthsDoctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Mechanical Engineering is a full-time minimum three-year course offered by the Mody University of Science and Technology, Lakshmangarh.
Min. duration of program The minimum period of registration shall be two Calendar years (24 months) for a Full Time Research Scholar, while for a Part Time Research Scholar the minimum period shall be 36 months. However, in exceptional cases, the Vice Chancellor may relax the minimum period by four months.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates who have qualified for the Master’s degree from any academic institution recognized by UGC (with not less than 55% of marks, or a CGPA of 5.5 and above in the 10 point scale) are eligible to register for PhD at Mody University. Candidates who have passed M.Phil/UGC-CSIR NET/JRF/SLET/GATE/Teacher Fellow are exempted from the entrance examination.
