The college has a good infrastructure but the management is kinda sloppy. The university is rather tormenting upon the college and all its discipline. So yes the college tries hard to maintain its relevance and heritage.

My subject history, has a quite good faculty in the college and is open to contact for any doubt but I cannot say the same for other departments. The science streams have developed laboratories and there's whole different building for the commerce streams.

It's rather an academic institution so the focus on placement is a little off. But there is a placement cell which aids students with placement related problems. If the academics is focused upon more then the college is based suited.

The fees is quite low.

I have been in this college for a year now. Till date, it has been very pleasant and fruitful for me and my career. The seniors are supportive and helping. Overall a good, and encouraging environment, uplifting a students overall growth. Yes it does have a vast library for the book worms, and a very good English and Science department with other departments also being among the top of the City. New Building has been inaugurated recently. New courses will be launched soon for more in-depth and Overall career counciling. Canteen is hygienic and spacious.

Don't know much about that. But as of website data, 2-3 LPA. Because it is primarily a traditional liberal arts and sciences college, the placement landscape has a distinct footprint: professional courses like BBA (Hons) and B.Com (Hons), along with B.Sc. The college is one of the most historical ones in India with experienced faculties good courses and a lot of opportunities. Regular seminars , workshops and yearly internships under the N.E.P are organised by the college . It has all the necessary equipments required for the science students in the laboratories and the lawn is in a good and hygienic condition. There is a very useful and updated library and information centre as well.

I am currently studying Poltical Science honours in this college and this because I have a keen interest in the subject and the prospects of this discipline is also good. My curriculum is updated according to the NEP . It will make the students job ready only if they make good use of their subject depth and skills.

The placement cell exists in our college and conducts regular sessions and workshops as well . It also conducts campus drives by companies like amazon, L&T , NAMO etc .. however the placement rate is not very high . Nevertheless one of our seniors got a job of Rs.50k above at NAMO recently. The average salary in around 25-30 k and the college is supportive enough to process the required things for the internship.

As it's a government and minority institution it doesn't cost much . In my 1 st sem I had to pay only Rs.950 as my sem fees and now it's only around 5k in my 6 th semester. The margin of fees is much lower compared to other colleges considering the number of opportunities we get here and the seminars conducted .

The college has a beautiful campus. It has a beautiful assembly hall and a lawn filled with greenery. It also has a gymnasium which the physical education students mostly use. We also have a good college ground nearby the college where the students are allowed to play . Our college has different societies like the drama society, debating and painting club , photography club etc . The college has an active anti ragging cell and the campus is very safe and secure . The location is prime in North Kolkata and yes it has able amenities to handle emergencies.

The college has all the necessary infrastructure. There are all the facilities and equipment, like a common room and games, for the recreation of students. Besides that, the college also has an auditorium, a canteen, and all other facilities that one can expect in an educational institution.

The teaching was top-notch when I studied at the college. The professors were highly experienced and had in-depth knowledge of their subjects. The curriculum was also very student-oriented and made students learn about real-life applications of the things they studied.

Placements are not the strong point of this college, as there are rarely any companies coming here for campus interviews. At least, that is what used to happen back in 2017 when I graduated. However, there is a need for current enquiry to know about placements as of 2026.

Since this is a Christian trust fund college, the fees are very low. It is not as high as a private college, but neither is it nominal like a government-funded college. However, the quality of education provided is extremely valuable for the money.

The campus life is vibrant and consists of students from several walks of life. There are also students from different ethnicities studying in this college. Mostly, the college was famous for its one-time great college fest known as Caledonia.

The academics of this is too good , all the professor are educated and helpful . Yes they make you job ready. I've studied here Bsc in computer science. The teacher are well educated and they possess great knowledge

The placement rate is so high and the professor help the students in every steps. The average package is 3.5 Lpa to 5 lpa. Yes my college supports me in every step. The placement cell has a pure authority of the student of getting placed.

Yeah you can say the college is the value for money college. Every student got placement after completing the course.

The college location is near Hedua park and it has cricket ground there all the students can practice and play cricket there. It's so much safe and they can handle emergency situations.

The overall experience is so good for me. I got a good placement in an MNC company with a good package.

The college is very good Yes my college have all necessary infrastructure facilities and all equipment. They are all used and well maintained and there is many computers available and also hardware system for the hardware practical and projector is also there at every classes. Yes living spaces is clean and also good hygienic.

The college is very good.

The college has good infrastructure with spacious classrooms, smart boards, well-equipped laboratories, a rich library, campus Wi-Fi, sports facilities and clean hostels. Facilities are regularly used and well maintained.

The quality of teaching is average; some teachers are supportive and explain concepts clearly, while others focus mostly on theory. The curriculum is partially updated but still needs more practical exposure and industry-relevant skills.

Placements in the college are not very good. Only a few companies visit the campus, and most offer low salary packages. Placement opportunities are limited, and many students have to search for jobs or internships on their own. Overall, the placement support needs improvement.

This college has two buildings one is the main building and another one is the seperate building for commerce. Both the buildings have well maintained classrooms with wifi facilities and air conditioners in all the class rooms. There is one auditorium in each building and one canteen in each building.

This is a Calcutta university undertaking college so the course curriculum were good. The professors used to teach each and every topic very clearly comparing with real life examples so that we can understand well. There are one internal before every semester. They take many class test so that the students can prepare well.

This college has s dedicated placement cell with proper guidance as majority of the calcutta university undertaking college does not provide this facilities. Here some of the companies that come ar Tech Mahindra, Larsen And Toubro, Wipro, JP Morgan, Amazon.

They take twenty to twenty five thousand rupees per semester. In first semester u have to deposit a certain amount of money that they will return after completing the graduation. After being a government college they provide so many facilities which other college doesn't. So in my opinion it is definitely value for money.

We spent the college life very well with our faculties. They very good and friendly relation with us. They used to teach anytime if we had doubt in any subject while studying. We used to had great fun with our friends discussing real lide topics and all types of discussions.

There should be computer installed in the libraries with full internet access and so that the students can use anytime for streaming the internet.. They should arrange atleast one fest in a year so that our college life would be more memorable..

The environment of the college us very decent and good. The faculty of the Zoology department is pretty good. Cantenes arr hygienic and provide affordable food items. Thr laboratories are equipped with necessary requirements.

They provide quality education. They also conduct PTM for the betterment of the students. The teachers help students if they have any problem. Some of the teachers are friendly too. Our curriculum is pretty updated.

From zoology department many alumni got into research . So, I would say the placements are standard not that many happen through campus. The college will help you get into any placement and mould you according to that.

Per year it cost around 20k for zoology department. And I would say it is a value for money Our department provides us with study materials and also thr laboratories are fully equipped. So, money is worth it.

The college have both academic and non academic activities going on. If you want you can participate in many clubs like drama club, dance club, debate club, photography club etc. So, it gives an overall packaged college life.

I would say if you want a disciplined college you can opt for this one.

Well developed infrastructure good classrooms table bench laboratories and eqquipments for carrying out projects and extra curricular activities for the betterment of the course and gives good experience about college life

Good teaching staff to provide guidance through different courses teachers help us through all the practicals and theory and upcoming exams provides ample notes and practical information helpful in the exams

Offere good placements for bba and bcom and other maths and physics cources. We do have a placement cell which is active for a good amount of time though placement is not available for all the cources.
