A decent choice for bca
Academics
The faculty members are good, knowledgeable, and supportive. They handle their subjects well and guide students throughout the programme. The management is strict regarding teaching, and daily monitoring is done to ensure proper class delivery.
College Infra
Many sports activities are organised here, and all sports equipment are available there. The food at the canteen is hygienic and can be eaten by everybody. The campus design is easily accessible to the students.
Placements
Guidance from teachers and seniors is helpful, and they try to prepare us well for interviews, but the number of companies coming for BCA is limited. . The salary packages usually range between 2–3 LPA, so placement totally depends on one’s communication skills and personal preparation.
The college does put effort into job readiness sessions, but students need to take initiative themselves.

Not good to waste that much amount here
Academics
There are some professors who teach regularly using PowerPoint presentations and case studies . but Curriculum is not up to date and mostly emphasizes attendance over hands-on learning. I do not feel that the teaching equips students with the industry demands properly.
College Infra
Washrooms are in need of a make-over and cleanliness is not given much priority. Some of the lecture halls have AC but it doesn't function at full capacity all the time. The labs are simple and require an upgrade, graded around 6 out of 10 in my experience.
Placements
From what I’ve observed, placements at S.D. College of Management Studies are quite limited. Only a small fraction of students manage to get placed through campus drives. The highest package offered is around 4.5 LPA, while the lowest is close to 1.2 LPA. The number of companies visiting the campus is quite low, with mostly local firms or small-scale recruiters.

Academics
The teachers have a good relationship with the students and are available for queries and advice. The quality of teaching is mixed, with some professors being very supportive and other professors being conventional and less interactive.
College Infra
Wi-Fi, simple labs, and projectors are present in the classrooms, but smart classrooms are lacking. Hostel accommodation is average with clean rooms but nothing impressive. The mess and canteen food quality is substandard and recurrent, which is a drawback.
Placements
Around 90% of students complete their course successfully, but placement opportunities are somewhat limited. The highest package offered recently was about 8 LPA, while the lowest stood near 2 LPA. Companies like TechServe Solutions, Innovatech, and Axis IT have recruited from our campus, but big-name firms rarely visit.
