24 MonthsBachelor of Education (B.Ed) is a two-year full-time undergraduate course approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and offered by The West Bengal University of Teachers Training Education Planning and Administration, Kolkata.
Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates with at least 50% marks for General and 45% marks for SC/ST candidates either in the Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree can apply.
- Fresher General Candidate up to 35 years and for SC/ST up to 40 years can apply.
- Candidates should Graduate in a school subject from a recognized University.
- Bachelor's in Engineering or Technology with Science and/or Mathematics, with 55% marks or any other qualification equivalent thereto, are also eligible for admission. Such candidates are required to enter the marks of B.E/ B. Tech. in the row of Honours Degree. M.E. / M. Tech results (if any) will be entered in the Master's Degree row.
- Honors Graduates in school subjects should enter the Honours marks only in the row of Bachelor's degree (Honours).
- In the case of General Graduates, the total marks obtained in general subjects should be entered in the row of Bachelor's degree (General).
Admission Details
Admission Shall be Made on merit based on marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or in the entrance examination or any other selection process as per the policy of the state government/U.T. Administration and the university.
