Shri Rawatpura Sarkar Institute of Pharmacy, Kumhari is a privately held institute, established in the year 2004 to serve pharmaceutical education. The institute, located near Power Grid Corporation, Kumhari, Durg, Chhattisgarh, is affiliated to Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekanand Technical University, Bhilai, and approved by the Pharmacy Council of India, New Delhi. SRSIP runs courses at the D.Pharma, B.Pharma, M.Pharma, and Ph.D. levels in Pharmacy. With a campus spanning 3 acres, the institute boasts a total student intake of 397 and a faculty strength of 36. In the postgraduate level itself, SRSIP offers different M.Pharma specializations—Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Quality Assurance, Pharmaceutics, Pharmacognosy, and Pharmacology—and a Ph.D. program in Pharmacy for those seeking advanced research. 

The admission process varies for each course at SRSIP. The institute offers admission to D.Pharma and B.Pharma programs through the Chhattisgarh Pre Pharmacy Test. Students seeking admission to M.Pharma have to appear for Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test and must have valid scores in the same. Admission Process: The institute conducts its admission process once a year. Dates shall be announced depending upon each year.
