48 MonthsBachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Mechanical Engineering is a four-year full-time undergraduate program recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and offered by Bikaner Technical University, Bikaner.
Eligibility Criteria
Any student passed the 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with any of the following subjects.
A) Chemistry
B) Bio-Technology
C) Computer Science
D) Biology
Lateral Entry To B.Tech.- 2nd Year
Lateral entry for diploma holders and B.Sc. passed students is allowed in the 2nd year (3rd Semester). 10% seats in addition to the sectioned in-take (by AICTE) can be filled under this category. Any student who has a qualified Diploma Engineering or B.Sc. is eligible for admission in the direct 2nd year for 4 years of Engineering Degree Course (Total 3 years of course for students who fall under this category).
Admission Details
For admission under various categories, the candidates should have qualified the combined entrance test conducted by Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process ( REAP). As per present policy, 70% of the total sanctioned intake will be filled out of REAP qualified candidates, 15% of the total sanctioned intake will be filled out of AIEEE qualified candidates and a balance of 15% of seats will be filled under management quota.
