SKP Government Degree College, Guntakal Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The college has a boy’s hostel facility with a well-established student’s managed hostel and Social welfare hostel that is attached to the college. They are located in the backside of the main building of the college, within the campus. Due to the hostel facilities, the college is able to cater to the needs of the students of the rural areas. These Hostels accommodate up to 300 students and two government BC Hostels outside the campus.

The college has a girls' hostel facility with Well well-established student’s student-managed hostel and a Social welfare hostel that is attached to the college. The Library in S.K.P. Government College has an adequate collection of 40,000 books, with separate SC/ST book banks augmented by departmental Libraries, facilitating good services to its students and staff and trying to build communities.  In a way, it tries to qualify itself to be a great library so far as the undergraduate programs are concerned.  The start of the library dates back to the establishment of the college in 1983.  It visualizes to be a temple of learning to set itself as a good model.  It is centrally located in the college premises for easy and open access to all its stakeholders in a built-up area of 1464.5 square feet.

The college has sports facilities for all students with games like Kho-Kho, Badminton, kabaddi, football, and athletics.

The college has an excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students.

The college has an auditorium facility for events and seminars.

The college has a departmental-based laboratory facility for the students.

The college has good networking for the alumni association.

The state – of – the -art Gym established in 2016 with the XII plan UGC grants is also kept open off the college hours for the best utilization of both the students and the public.
