A good experience with valuable global exposure

Master in Global Luxury Goods and Services Management with MIUR, Italy - Batch of 2026-01-01
Academics
I am currently studying the Masters in Global Luxury Goods and Services Management. The course covers different areas of luxury, including brand management, marketing, retail and strategy, The teaching is a good mix of classroom concepts, presentations, group projects and case studies, which makes the subject more practical. I also like that the course gives exposure to the international luxury industry and different markets. The curriculum is relevant to the field and helps build skills that can be useful for careers in luxury and brand management.
College Infra
The infrastructure of SP Jain is quite good and provides a comfortable environment for students. the classrooms are well equipped and maintained for presentations and regular classes. the campus also has basic facilities needed for day to day student life and has separate cabins for group discussions and a small cafe. the one thing i liked is the learning spaces are generally clean and organised. Overall, the infrastructure is good and supports both academic work and group activities, although there is some scope for improvement in terms of facilities and student spaces.
Campus Life
Campus life at SP Jain is generally good, especially because you get to interact with students from different backgrounds. The Mumbai campus has professional environment and there are group activities, presentations and events where students can interact outside the regular classes. The location is also convenient for students. Since the programme later moves to Milan, the overall experience becomes more international and you get to meet people from different countries. I would say the campus life is more focused on academic and professional exposures rather than having a very typical college life atmosphere.
Placements
Placement support is mainly provided through the SP Jain Mumbai Campus, while the Milan part of the programme is more focused on the international academic and industry experience. For students looking for job in Italy, knowing italian is quite important, especially for many local companies and client-facing roles, so finding a job without fluency in the language can be challenging. From what i have understood, opportunities through the Mumbai campus can be around 8-9 LPA rupees for freshers and around 11-12 LPA rupees for candidates with prior work experience, depending on the role and company. I personally did not apply for placements, so i cannot comment on the placement process on personal experience.
Value For Money
The total course fee for both the Mumbai and Milan was around 23 - 24 lakh ruppes. For me, the cost was on the higher side because i also had accommodation and personal expenses in both the cities. Depending on your lifestyle, I would keep around 15 lakh or more additionally for living and personal expenses. Personally, i feel that for this overall cost, the academic value could be better. I would also suggest thinking carefully before taking a large student loan based only on the expectation of recovering it through placements. T he total investing should be planned realistically before joining.

Hope you are doing good, yes you can get in SP jain without giving CAT exams but you have to appear in GMAT exam because SP jain accepts only GMAT or CAT exams so you have to appear in one of them. No you can't get in SP
