I am a science student and have got 57% in HSC. Which college in Mumbai can I try for BMM?

Hi Khushbu,

Look, it is difficult to say just based on your score as each college has its own criteria, what you can do is shortlist the colleges that you wish to join and after that, you can check their criteria individually by visiting their websites. Mostly the colleges have a criteria of 55% but you have to make it sure yourself.

if i apply for bmm and bms at jai hind, what will i be considered for?

Hello dear,

It is your wish which course you want to opt for. You can pursue 2 courses at same time id the university allows for it.

Here between bmm and bms, the choice will be yours.

Seats Reserved — 50% for Arts
— 25% for Commerce
— 25% Science
Cut off percentage of last year (2012-2013) 52.16% (Arts Stream) in H.S.C.
69.83% (Commerce Stream) in H.S.C.
63% (Science Stream) in H.S.C.

Eligibility : A candidate for being eligible for admission to the Degree Course in Bachelor of Mass Media shall have passed XII Std. Examination of the Maharashtra Board of Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent, from the Science, Arts or Commerce Stream.

Students coming from other than Maharashtra Board & Maharashtra Technical Board are required to apply for provisional Eligibility Certificate at college by submitting eligibility form along with requisite fees

can i apply for b.Arch and Bmm in mumbai college with 57% in HSC science stream and Nata 89 marks

You can surely get B. Arch colleges on NaTa scores but not for BMM.

You can get following colleges under NaTA:

Only if you have made it through, they will require your documents during the time of your admission, nothing is to be given prior to that.

Hi! I got 88% in hsc science, could I get admission in KC college for BMM?

Hi dear,

You may be eligible to get admission in KC college,Mumbai in BMM course. Previous years cutoff for BMM course in KC college was :

For Arts: 89%

For Science: 88%

For Commerce: 94%

So the percentage might dip or increase by 1-2% . You should try for counselling.

Hello!
You can apply to as many courses and colleges as you want if you fall within the eligibility criteria. First, you have to fill a pre enrollment form which is available on Mumbai University's website. Fill separate forms for separate courses and colleges. Secondly, you have to fill that particular college's admission form which will be available on that college's site or you'll have to get from the college.
If you are applying for two courses in the same college, make sure you have filled a separate form for both. Seats are alloted as per merit. If you have cleared the cutoff, you can secure admission in that college.

A student shall have passed in XII standard with 50% aggreegate in any stream are eligible to get admission for BMM.

Hi Mansi,

Congratulations on your score. Admissions to colleges in Mumbai university will depend on the reservation of seats for other state board students. Since you are from MP you will have to first check with the number of seats reserved for other state students.
