St Ann's Degree College for Women, Guntur Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The Hostel Administration governs all activities of Resident students. The caretakers cater to the needs of their inmates. They meticulously monitor them by conducting study hours both in the morning and evening time. The hostel is provided with security personnel who remain on guard round the clock. Visitors are allowed only during visiting hours. Health and Hygiene are considered important by providing a nutritious and balanced diet.

The controlled exercise makes a person fit as a fiddle. The use of the gym reduces the flab and sluggishness. The gymnasium has all the required equipment.

The college library encompasses rich and varied domains of 8344 printed Volumes, 3278 Titles, various Journals, Magazines, News Papers, CDs, and DVDs. . It houses 9292 Volumes, 1601 Titles, 12 Indian Journals, 12 International Journals, and 05 e-Journals for M.C.A .It houses 5469 Volumes, 1243 Titles, 12 Indian Journals,12 International Journals, and 05 e-Journals for M.B.A.

The college has well furnished, air-conditioned place for several activities. Seminars and Guest lectures on general topics and recent trends are conducted by the faculty and External subject experts to bring all-round development in students. Workshops, Quiz Competitions (Subject & General), Elocution, Debates, etc., are organized in Seminal Hall. The hall is for the use of both UG & PG Sections. The innate and hidden talents and innovativeness of the students are brought out through student seminars and power-point presentations.

The alumni meet was started with some introductory words from the then former Principal Rev.Sr.Y.Inyasamma. The program was started with the lighting of the lamp to flourish the light of St.Ann’s Alumni. After that, the Chairperson addressed the gathering, blessed them to reach the higher peaks in their life, and guided them on how to face many challenges raised in the present society.

The Laboratories of Chemistry, Physics, Biotechnology, Microbiology, and Botany.

Health and Hygiene are considered important by providing a nutritious and balanced diet.

The college has a health center with a first aid facility for the students.

The college is located at Amaravathi main road which is a part of the proposed APCRDA (Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authorize). As public Transport Facility is available from various part of Guntur City and Amaravathi region also, at every 5 minutes intervals, we are not required to average separate transport facility to our students. We have tie-up with APSRTC. An employee from APSRTC issues Season passes for the required student, after completion of the admissions process at our college premises.

The College has a very spacious parking facility to park the vehicles of students as well as staff members separately. Parking for two-wheeler and four-wheeler are separate.
