St Joseph's college Devagiri was recognised as a college with"potential for excellence"by the University Grant Commission.It upholds the motto"pro dio it patria"(for god and country)with the aim of promoting righteousness and-and good of our country.It has 6 Research Centres,11 PG Programmes,15 UG Programmes and separate wings.The college hs substantially strengthened the basic research facilities by availing CPE.DST ,GDA and BSR grants.The college has a well-equipped library with more than 59000 books.The campus spread over 25 acres of land with green trees.The institution maintains a high pass percentage at UG and PG levels of University examinations and has an excellent track record of students qualifying UGC-JRF/NET exams.It has been the champion at University Fine Arts for the past several years.
