Eligibility for admission in order of preference is given below For admission for the PG Programme in Food Science & Nutrition, the applicant must have passed B.Sc. /B.Voc programme with specialization in Food and Nutrition/ Food Science & Quality Control/ Clinical Nutrition & Dietetics/ Food Technology / Food Processing Technology/ Home Science/ Family & Community Science.
OR Graduates in Biochemistry / Chemistry/ Zoology/ Nursing with PG. Diploma in Nutrition & Dietetics of any statutory university recognized by M.G University are also eligible.
OR Graduates in Biochemistry/ Chemistry/ Zoology/ Nursing with any three of the following nutrition related courses are also eligible. (i)Basic nutrition (ii) Biochemistry (iii) Human Physiology (iv) Diet Therapy (v) Clinical Nutrition (vi) Diet in Diseases.
The admission process is strictly based on the academic qualification and the marks obtained by the student.
