48 MonthsBachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Education (B.A B.Ed ) is a full-time four-year integrated course offered by Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University, Chennai, and approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates with at least 50% of marks in the senior secondary / +2 or its equivalent are eligible for admission.
- Those who have studied Tamil / Advanced Tamil as one of the subjects at the Senior Secondary / +2 Level can join B.A. B.Ed.(Tamil).
- Those who have studied English /Advanced English as one of the subjects at the Senior Secondary / +2 Level can join B.A B.Ed. (English).
- Those who have studied History as one of the subjects at the Senior Secondary / +2 Level can join B.A. B.Ed. (History).
- The reservation and relaxation in marks for SC/ST/OBC/PWD and another category for all the above Programmes shall be as per the rules of the State Government. Community / Category Minimum Marks OC- 50%, BC/BCM -45%, MBC/DNC- 43% and SC/ST/SC(A)- 40%.
