Surajmal College of Engineering and Management, Kichha is an affiliated college instituted in 2008. The coeducational institution is spread over 12.168 acres in Udham Singh Nagar, Uttarakhand. SCEM offers various programs with B.Tech, MBA, Diploma, and PGDCA courses. The sanctioned strength of students in this college is 137, while the faculty consists of 7 members.

Surajmal College of Engineering and Management has various facilities to match its academic programs. The college library has over 10,000 reference books in technical, management, and related aspects, and subscribes to 50 national and international journals. It also subscribes to various leading newspapers for developing general knowledge among its students. The infrastructure in IT is well-built with specific labs in places for C Programming, Advanced Java, Data Structures, Database Management Systems, Computer Networks, Operating Systems, and Artificial Intelligence. It also has well-equipped labs for Electronics Engineering, Digital Electronics, Digital Signal Processing, and Applied Electronic Instrumentation for Engineering students. In addition, the campus is well-endowed with separate boys' and girls' hostels, a health centre equipped with first-aid facilities, sports, a canteen, and an air-conditioned seminar hall accommodating more than 300 people.

The institute offers a total of 12 courses that include full-time B. Tech programs, specialisations of MBA, Diploma courses, and the PGDCA program. 

The admission procedure into the SCEM differs from one program to another. In the case of the B. Tech course, the admission is based upon the rank obtained in the JEE Main examination. For the MBA course, the admission will be made based upon the scores in CAT, MAT, and other examinations. Other entrance exam scores are also accepted for admission into the various programs offered by the college.
