The college offers a BA Programme and the following seven different specialisations are offered by Tangla College for BA (Hons): Bodo, Assamese, Education, English, Political Science, Economics, and History. All these have merit-based selection procedures; each has different intake capacities. For example, while BA Bodo Major and BA Assamese Major have an approved intake of 100 seats each, BA Education Major, BA English Major, and BA Political Science Major have 90 seats each.
This college offers B.Sc in six subjects: Chemistry, Zoology, Physics, Mathematics, Botany, and Statistics. Admission into these courses is based on merit. The greatest number of seats is available in the B.Sc chemistry major, which admits a maximum of 85 students, while 75 students can be admitted for a B.Sc zoology major.
