36 MonthsMD in Psychiatry is a three-year programme divided into six semesters specialising in the study of the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of mental, addictive, and emotional disorders. The programme helps to enlighten students on the medical, psychological, and social components of mental, emotional, and behavioural disorders using a wide range of treatment modalities, including diagnostic tests, prescribing medications, psychotherapy. During the programme, students gain fundamental knowledge on neurobiology, biopsychology, prescription of psychiatric drugs and diagnosis and treatment of psychiatric disorders.
