12 MonthsMaster of Science in Finance is a full-time one-year postgraduate degree course, offered by the University of York, Mumbai.
Eligibility Criteria
Undergraduate Degree Requirements - Bachelor’s degree with above 60% in UG and containing one quantitative element module. Such quantitative subjects would include economics, finance, mathematics, statistics, engineering, physics.
English Language Requirements - 75% from Standard XII* / IELTS 6.5 overall with 6.0 in each component.
Admission Details
- The selection of postgraduate students will be based on their academic performance (Undergraduate marks), personal interview, letters of reference, statement of purpose, and achievements in extracurricular activities.
- Candidates in their final year of Undergraduate Studies are also encouraged to apply. Merit will be assessed based on marks obtained up to the last declared semester/year of the UG programme, and final admission will be subject to submission of the complete and qualifying degree results as per the minimum eligibility criteria defined in the above section.
- Shortlisted candidates will be invited to appear for the personal interview following a competitive evaluation of their academic record and other relevant criteria. Submission of an application does not guarantee an interview call, as only a select number of applicants will be shortlisted for this stage of the admissions process.
- The University reserves the right to waive off the interview process (for programs where applicable) for candidates possessing an exceptional score in CAT/ XAT / MAT / NMAT / GMAT / CMAT examinations.
