Vardhman Teacher Training College, Dholpur Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The college library maintains a high standard. The total number of books in the library is 6123. It, however, includes a variety of excellent books. The library contains textbooks on ‘Education’ as well as on other subjects, reference books (Dictionaries, Encyclopedias on different subjects, Atlas, etc.), and general books. The library subscribes to a variety of Journals on Education (mainly), Science, and Arts subjects. The collection also includes back volumes of Journals, Magazines, Career guidance books, and News bulletins about employment. Apart from the borrowing facility, the library also has reading room facilities. The students are dependent upon the library for their requirements related to the B.Ed. course. The collection is continuously reviewed and added to with new books to support their needs. The Internet is also accessible to the students in the library. A large number of varieties of resources (e-journals, e-books, databases, etc) are accessible from the library. Dictionaries, Encyclopedias, Journals, Magazines, Syllabus, New Papers, Research Papers many general books are available for easy access.

Every fundamental of experimentation is taught to students in the laboratory. While handling the instruments, taking measurements, and analyzing results, the students gain confidence and understand the phenomenon better. To allow the students to use the instruments, a science lab has been established in this institution. The laboratory is well equipped, keeping in view the training for the basics of the subject, with exclusive experimentation and demonstration in science subjects, namely Chemistry and Physics. For various experiments related to chemistry, Physics, and Math, various instruments such as a balancing stand, a prism, a voltmeter, an  Ammeter, Microscopes & slides, a Math kit, etc, are available in the laboratory.

The college has a health center with a first aid facility for the students.

The College has a computer lab, and 12 computer systems are available. The college gives computer education to the students because, in the field of education, the computer has an important place. The students of B.Ed. Make use of this computer lab. In this lab, they learn to use a computer, LCD projector, and other language software. These are the very important aspects of effective teaching. So this lab is also an effort to prepare effective teachers.

The college has a Gym facility for the students.

The College is always committed to making its students sportspersons of high repute. To achieve this, it encourages its students to participate in all competitions within and outside the College. The College provides sports facilities for Indoor/Outdoor games such as gymnastics, Skating, Basketball, Volleyball, Football, Cricket, Table tennis, Chess, Carom, etc., with Yoga Education as an Essential Part, which keeps them fit in mind as well as body.
