Vidarbha Institute of Technology (VIT) is a private engineering college located in Nagpur, Maharashtra, India. Established in 2009, VIT is affiliated to the Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Technological University, Lonere and is recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The college offers two diplomas, three undergraduate and four postgraduate courses in various disciplines of engineering and technology. Entry into VIT Nagpur diploma programmes is based on the candidate's prior academic record. To be admitted to a BE programme, applicants must have taken and passed either the JEE Main or the MHT CET entrance exam. To be admitted to the M.Tech programme, applicants must have taken and passed the GATE entrance exam.
