A candidate must have completed their graduation (10+2+3) in any field from an accredited college or university with a minimum of 45% of marks overall for general applicants and 40% for SC/ST applicants to be considered for admission to the three-year L.L.B. programme.
Admissions for 2024–2025 at Panji's VM Salgaocar College of Law Results of the college entrance exam are used to determine admission to undergraduate programmes; an interview follows the announcement of the results. The LLM programme is admitted based on the grades from the three- or five-year LL.B. programme.
Establishing V. M. Salgaocar College of Law, the Devi Sharvani Education Society did so in 1973. The institution was formerly called the Mahadevrao Salgaocar College of Law. The college was renamed V. M. in 1997.
