The college was previously known as Mahadevrao Salgaocar College of Law, but after it was renamed in honour of Vassudev M. Salgaocar who was a Philanthropist. VMSCL Miramar provides full-time law programmes including BA LLB (5 years), LLB (3 years), LLM in Constitutional and Administrative Law, and a PhD in Labour Laws and Labour Welfare.
