36 MonthsMaster of Surgery (MS) in Ophthalmology is a three-year full-time postgraduate course, offered by the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore with approval by the National Medical Commission (NMC).
Candidates in possession of an MBBS degree or Provisional MBBS Pass Certificate recognized as per the provisions of the NMC Act, 2019 and the repealed Indian Medical Council Act 1956 and possessing a permanent or provisional registration certificate of MBBS qualification issued by the NMC/ the erstwhile Medical Council of India or State Medical Council and have completed one year of internship or are likely to complete the internship on or before the prescribed cut-off for a particular admission session.
Seats are allotted by merit selection which is based on National Eligibility cum Entrance Test(NEET - PG) of National Board of Examinations conducted for management quota and Government Quota Seats sharing as per consensual Agreement between Government of Karnataka and Management and admission in the NRI seats.
