The placement percentage was increased for all the branches of YCCE Nagpur over the last two years. According to the NIRF 2024 Report, Rs. 6.5 lakh p.a. was the median salary for the undergraduate students and Rs. 5 lakh p.a. was the median salary of postgraduate students. For the undergraduate programmes, the median salary was increased from 3.5 lakh p.a. to 4.5 lakh p.a. over the last three years. Median salary also increased to four lakh per annum over the three years for the post-graduate programme of YCCE Nagpur.

All the engineering branches of YCCE are very good, but as we compared its branches, B.Tech in Information Technology has a 100 percent placement performance and it has become on the top position among all the engineering branches of YCCE over the last two years. 

Yes, YCCE Nagpur is free from ragging, ragging within or outside of the institution is strictly prohibited. As per the due provision of Maharashtra prohibition of Ragging Act 1999 Ragging is a non-bailable cognizable offense. Whosoever will do such kind of activity or part of such activity either directly or indirectly will be eligible for the punishment amounting to imprisonment up to 2 years and a fine of Rs. 10,000/- along with dismissal from the institution. 

YCCE and Raisoni are both institutions that are best at their place. In terms of academics YCCE is far better than all other engineering colleges in Nagpur (exemption VNIT ) but what makes it different is autonomy which makes it a good option. Whereas Raisoni is also autonomous but what makes it different from YCCE is its way to provide an internship in the last semester which is a good opportunity to implement what you studied in ur academics and implement it right away during this tenure. Well, on the other hand, YCCE provides good placement opportunities than Raisoni but at the same time, the intake of candidates in YCCE is much higher than any other institution in Maharashtra which directly results the placements of the students.

The nearest airport to the campus is the Nagpur Airport at a distance of 14.7 kms from the campus. Students can hire a cab or an auto to reach the campus from the airport.
