As there is nothing out anything related to AMU 2018 cut off but as per previous year information your score should be around 55 or above as this would be the safest score if you are an internal student so plan and prepare accordingly so that you can get admission in your desired college.

There is no any particular book for the preparation of AMU entrance exam. If you are well prepared with NCERT books & the syllabus from class 9th to 12th Standard then it will enough for the entrance exam of AMU for BA Poltical Science.

Yes you can. To apply for GATE for Mtech studies in IIT, the eligibility criteria states:

'Candidates who are applying must have completed their Bachelor's degree in Engineering/ Technology or Master’s degree (M.Sc.) in any relevant science subject or must be in the final year of the programme.'

So if you clear this condition then you are eligible to apply for GATE exam.

General English: Questions will mainly be from topics such as grammar, reading comprehension, synonyms, antonyms, vocabulary, etc. 

General Knowledge/ Current Affairs: Questions will be based on legal issues in India, informs the official website. Besides, other questions can be based on topics such as current affairs in India, eminent personalities, awards, etc. 

Reasoning & Aptitude: The questions will be on topics such as critical reasoning, analogy, blood relations, series, etc.

In order to appear for AMU below is the eligibility criteria

- Students must have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam from a recognized central or state board.

-  Students must have scored a minimum of 50% marks in the qualifying exam for appearing in AMU.

-   You must have studied subjects English, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in your qualifying exam.
