Hi,

You need no to worry about the same. As you have aggregate of 50% or above marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English and have a valid score in the NEET, then there will be no problem at all during admission procedure in any of the government or private institutes because for getting into any of the Medical colleges, you must have a valid score in the entrance exam i.e. NEET. Along with it, you need to meet the eligibility criteria as well.

Hey congratulations on scoring so well on your exam!

Unfortunately your chances of getting into AIIIMS are very low if not nil since the competition was really tough this year. So you can still apply for AIIMS colleges in the Counselling rounds. Theres still a good possibility that you get upgraded to one of the AIIMS college in the second or the mop up round.

You haven't mentioned your Category and hence this answer is being written in the perspective of General Category.

Compared to 2019, the NEET 2020 cut offs have changed considerably higher than expected. With the top score being 720 which is 19 marks greater than 2019's top score, it is difficult to predict chances. But based on the analysis of the experts, on the and going by previous years data, with this score a few Colleges that you may have a shot at, you have a chance in:

  • Hamdard Institute of Medical Sciences
  • Pt. Bhagawat Sharma Medical College
  • MAMC

Having said that, this is based on 2019 data and cut offs change every year. Cut offs change every year depending on various factors such as no.of Candidates appearing for the exam, no.of Candidates qualified, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. Hey congratulations on getting such an amazing score!

Yes you do have a good chance of getting into AIIMS for 680 as your AIR is somewhere between 28-78. You will mostly get in during the first round itself but you can always get an upgradation during the further rounds, so just make sure that you wait for the upgradation. I hope this answer was helpful and all the best for your future!

This is the very first time that AIIMS and JIPMER are conducting admission to MBBS based on NEET scores and so it is difficult to predict. Now adding to that, compared to 2019, the NEET 2020 cut offs have changed considerably higher than expected. With the top score being 720 which is 19 marks greater than 2019's top score, it is difficult to predict chances. AIIMS of all branches has approximately 1100 seats and EWS has 10%. Which means, approximately 110 seats are allotted to EWS. And so with 645, you might have decent chances for a seat in AIIMS  Bhubhaneshwar. Hello Aspirant,

On such marks and category you have good chances of getting some government medical colleges under All India quota according to previous year's cut-off. As we go through previous year's cut-off then it shows that you can get following colleges :-

  • Gandhi Medical College, Musheerabad Secunderabad
  • Indira Gandhi Government Medical College, Nagpur
  • B.R.D. Medical College, Gorakhpur
  • Stanley Medical College, Chennai
  • Sardar Patel Medical College, Bikaner
  • RUHS College of Medical Sciences, Jaipur
  • Dr Ram Manohar Lohia Institute of Medical Sciences, Lucknow

And many more. You can check out previous year's cut-offs from the link given below :-

https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cut-off-for-government-colleges

See for AIIMS it is quite difficult to predict because this is the first time when AIIMS is going to take its' admission through NEET score but according to your top score you have decent chances to get AIIMS.

Note that the above prediction is made on the basis of previous year's cut-off and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.
