Alok, Arihant alone might not be sufficient enough. You have to try the following books too:

NCERT Biology Class XI and Class XII textbooks
Biology Vol 1 and Vol 2 by Trueman
Objective Biology by Dinesh
Objective Botany by Ansari
Pradeep Guide on Biology
GR Bathla publications for Biology

Now if your goal is 340-350 out of 360, then you cannot afford any negative marking. Do not answer when in doubt because you will lose marks in negative marking. Human Physiology and Genetics have maximum weightage in NEET. It is advisable to practise questions of Genetics from previous year question papers, which will give you a thorough understanding of how the questions are being asked. Topics of Plant and Animal kingdom have a lot of portion to memorize. You can prepare these topics by making a comparative table for the sub-topics and studying it together. Plant physiology is also equally important and easy to score.

Hii Adarsh!
The food whether it is up to the mark or not depends on Different people's perspective. It depends upon your food preferences. Generally, the food tastes average but is prepared with hygeine. That is, it is clean and hygeinic. The menu is fixed in a monthly meeting by the menu committee as per the preferences from the students.
Hope this helps.
Good luck!

Hey,

The admission eligibility criteria for AIIMS specify that the candidate must have an aggregate of 60% in Physics, chemistry, Biology and English in their 12th to be eligible for admissions which is 50 % for SC/St and 45% for PwD candidates.

Therefore, if you have good score in neet but don't meet the above criteria then you might not get a seat in AIIMS.

Hello,

.

In the wake of Coronavirus spread, AIIMS PG July session 2020 has been postponed. The new date has not been released yet but there was a circular dated March 25th that AIIMS PG has been postponed. But it doesn't mention anything about extension of final registration. And the Final registration page has been deactivated after April 4th, 5.00pm which was the last date for the registration. Please write to them to check if there is any possibility of extension because most entrance exams have extended their dates for registration. aiims.pgexams@gmail.com

Hello Hima

Aiims Delhi is not a Deemed University. It is an Autonomous University,  It directly comes under Central Government of India. The institute is fully under the control of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare of the Government of India.

From this Year AIIMS application form has been discontinued and there will be only one exam i.e NEET.

Hi Harish

Hope you are doing well Harish and your neet preparation is going well

It is extremely difficult to predict marks required by you to get a seat in AIIMS
This is because, earlier admission in aiims was on the basis of Aiims mbbs entrance examination and  it is  going to be the first time ever when AIIMS will be conducting admission through neet ,
Also ,marks required for aiims will depend upon various factors like number of students that appeared in the neet entrance exam, kind of marks obtained by students in the examination ,toughness level of the neet examination etc.

And yes getting into aiims Jodhpur or any other Aiims is not going to be easy as seats are very limited and the competition is huge for Aiims .
considering these things,
you should target around 620-650 marks in your neet examination if you want to get a seat in Aiims Jodhpur if you belong to sc category

Good luck for your neet examination

Thankyou

Hi Saurav

It is extremely difficult to predict marks required by you to get a seat in AIIMS

This is because,

  • Earlier admission in aiims was on the basis of Aiims mbbs entrance examination and this it is the first time ever when AIIMS will be conducting admission through neet ,

  • Also cut off marks for medical colleges including aiims will depend upon various factors like number of students that appeared in the neet entrance exam, kind of marks obtained by students in the examination ,toughness level of the neet examination etc.

But yes getting into aiims Rishikesh or any other Aiims is not going to be easy as seats are very limited and the competition is huge for Aiims .
considering these things,
you should target around 620-650 marks in your neet examination if you want to get a seat in Aiims Rishikesh if you belong to sc category

Good luck for your neet examination

Hello,

Now it is a wellknown fact that AIIMS has been scrapped for NEET. So AIIMS MBBS seats will have admissions through NEET score through All India Counselling. NEET eligibility is:

  • Should be in the 12th and be writing 12th exams this year and complete the 12th before admission or already completed 12th.
  • Should score atleast 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology for UR students, 45% for PD and 40% for OBC,SC,ST students.
  • Should be atleast 17 years on December 31st of the year of taking admission.

AIIMS also has the same eligibility except for aggregate. Because AIIMS will conduct admissions through All India counselling for the first time, we do not know yet if AIIMS like CMC or AFMC will have its own criteria. But look at it once:

  • Candidate must have completed 10+2
  • Must have PCB and English as main subjects
  • Must secure 60% if general and 50% for SC/ST and for PWD it's 45%

Because AIIMS will conduct admissions through All India counselling for the first time, we do not know yet if AIIMS like CMC or AFMC will have its own criteria..

Hello there

I am extremely sorry to tell you but I didn't get your question . But as far as I understood I guess you want to know whether you can get into AIIMS for your MBBS through neet examination or not

If that is the case then yes you can get into AIIMS through your neet examination.

There is no separate examination which will be conducted for providing admission in AIIMS for MBBS.

This is because, from this year AIIMS MBBS entrance examination has been scrapped off and it has been merged with neet so now admission to all the medical colleges including all the Aiims is through neet examination only

So you don't need to worry at all and prepare well for neet examination if you want to get into AIIMS

Thankyou
