Dear Aspirant,

This is the first time so we can not say for sure how the pattern will change and how the admission will be. However, one thing can be sure that AIIMS will be first preference of the students and therefore only the top rankers will be given seats in AIIMS.

You should right now focus on your preparation and not on the results after that. If you are among the top rankers then you will definitely the college you like.

hope this helps. Thank you.

Hello,
.
Yes, only NEET will be conducted from 2020s.
There will be no AIIMS and even no JIPMER exams.
The government made a decision that medical students will have only one way to enter i.e., NEET.
.
So,till we get any other updates on examination. Only NEET will be the examination for medical students.

Hello Aryan,
Hope you are doing well.
Yes, this is right that all medical exams are merging with NEET. But it seems to be possibility that syllabus and patterns remain same. May be possible that it standard gets increase.
Hope this will help you.
Good luck

Neet won't be tough but yes the competition will get tougher since AIIMS and JIPMER have been removed and merged into NEET. So cutoffs might rise even higher. And yes only NEET is the common entrance exam for admission to all the medical courses available ie MBBS BDS BAMS BHMS BPT etc. The eligibility cutoff to apply for medical courses in neet last year was 134 marks for the general category and 107 for reserved category. And talking about admission criteria, if you score above this eligibility marks, then you are allowed to be a part of neet counselling. After which, colleges will be allotted to you on merit.
