Hello,
.
Yes, AIIMS paper has been cancelled and also JIPMER examination had been cancelled. Only NEET has been made as single entry system into Medical streams and colleges.
.
So, from 2020 only NEET will be conducted. One who were preparing for AIIMS and JIPMER, just don't worry, syllabus will be the same just examinations have been cancelled.

Dear Aspirant,

Nothing can be said for sure as this is happening for the very first time and we don't know what to expect, however, with the inclusion of JIPMER and NEET, you can expect certain changes but one thing is sure that you have to put in a lot of effort if you are aiming for AIIMS as it will be the first choice of students anyway.

Hope this helps. Thank you.

Dear Aspirant,

As per the latest announcements, AIIMS and JIPMER are merged with the NEET from 2020. So in the NEET 2020, there is inclusion of both of these exams and there will be no separate exam for AIIMS and JIPMER. Admission to both of these colleges and other medical college will be through NEET rank.

Hope this helps. Thank you.

Hi Sairoshan,

The All India Institute of Medical Sciences holds their own exam called AIIMS MBBS for admission to the MBBS courses of the various AIIMS institutes all over India. However, from the year 2020 onwards, AIIMS will not hold this exam and admissions to the institutions will be done through NEET.

There will be no AIIMS MBBS exam held in 2020.

Hello dear student,
I understand your query dear student but as you have not mentioned your category and I hope you are aware that JIPMER, AIIMS like exams have been scraped off from the shelves that is they won't be conducted separately instead NTA will conduct Neet in 3rd may 2020 . And seats of AIIMS and JIPMER will be merged in neet only . So you can expect slight increase in the competition as need will be the only exam that is going to be conducted nationally for the students who are appearing in medical field. Try to keep your marks above 580 if you are belonging from general category and if from reserved category keep it above 520 to 540 because likewise you will be  on a safer side to gain a seat in any government medical colleges. I hope this was helpful to you.
Thank you

I had done the same a year ago. I am right now pursuing computer science course and was preparing for NEET exam last year. Due to some mis calculations at the end and also the cutoffs climbing really high in my state, I could not get a seat. But I was pretty much satisfied with my performance. So yes you can go for it. Everything is possible. Bas avoid all the distractions and the new friends that will be a part of your life in the first year of engineering. Avoid going to fests and everything, and stay focused with neet, and try to give the best here as this will help you to change your career.

Best wishes. Thank you.
