Amity University, Noida All Questions

Hii Aspirant,

The hostel fees is quite high in Amity. It is around 1.5 lakhs for A.C. rooms excluding the food fees in Noida. The infrastructure is good.

The course fees for B.Sc Hons in biotechnology is 1.5 lakhs for first , second and thrid year. Totals fees Is 4.5 lakhs for complete course.

Congratulations on getting into both the colleges. By now you must know that these are both private universities.

I'll suggest you to go for symbiosis pune for it's better reputation. Getting into symbiosis is difficult and every year thousand of aspirants apply for it's entrance exam and only few get this opportunity. Amity on the other hand has not very good reputation, it is treated more of a commercial college that is anybody can get admission into it. That is why there will be crowd difference, symbiosis will have a more competitive crowd in comparison to Amity.

Rest it all depends on your comfort zone, if you can afford to go to Pune and settle there than you should definitely go for it.

Both these Amity university campus offered Bsc Biotechnology course.

Fees Factor :

Fees of Noida campus for Biotechnology is little bit high in compare to lucknow campus.

Placements wise:

Noida campus has more placements percentage in compare to lucknow campus.

Approx 85% students get placed from Noida campus every year.

So, In my opinion I think you can go for Noida campus

Amity University, Noida and Banasthali Vidyapith both Colleges provides b.sc. in biotechnology and also internships or you can go for off campus placments.

The total fee for the same in Amity University Noida is 4.11 lacs, it is a three years undergraduate degree, the basic eligibility criteria to get admission is that candidate must have passed 10+2 with Science stream.


The total fee for the same in banasthali Vidyapith is 2.50 lacs, the basic eligibility criteria to get admission in the same is that candidate must have passed 10+2 with Science stream with atleast 55% aggregates.

on compaaring both of the colleges Among Amity and Banasthali vidhyapeeth for biotechnology there are several parameters to compare but I will tell here about some important ones.

Fees : Fees in Amity is much higher than the fees in Banasthali. Fees in Amity is 8.4 lakhs for complete course completion and fees in Banasthali is around 3.2 lakhs for complete course completionIn Amity both boys and girls can take admission while Banasthali vidhyapeeth is only for girls. Salary : Median salary for both the colleges is almost the same around 3.5 lakhs. placements : also there is not such big difference in placements. college life : Banasthali is said to have many restrictions , they don't allow to use phone every where everytime , restricted time for phone use, you cannot always come and go out of the campus , etc. While in Amity there are jo such restriction.

You should go for Banasthali , I feel it is better with lower fees

Hey Stuti! Banasthali Vidyapith University, Jaipur is a fully residential womens university offering courses from primary to Ph.D. level. The University has been accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with 'A' Grade. It offers a number of UG, PG, and Doctoral level Programs under various Departments. But its placements record for Biotechnology is not so impressive, talking about the placements in Amity for Biotechnology is better than the Banasthali Vidyapith. So the final call is yours as Banasthali is better college in comparison but placements is little issue. Hooe this may help you.

I think the better option is Btech in Artificial Intelligence rather than Btech CSE from private university..As i think AI is the most demanding skill right now in the tech world and demand of AI in future will definitely going to increase as each and every work is done with the help of machines and  I will not prefer Btech CSE from private university as thousands or lakhs of students are doing this and competing with each other for limited job (also average package is around 2.5 - 4.5 lpa)..There are n number of factors that proves that Btech in AI will be better option:

1.Competition is more in Btech Cse and also its a private university(competition in AI is less as many people dont know about this)

2. Money / fees ( fees in private university is too high)

3. job package (job average package in private university is 2.5 - 4.5 LPA)
