    Poor infrastructure

    Verified Review
    College Infrastructure

The college buildings are good. Recently, they have constructed new buildings in just 6 months. The campus has a aeroplane hangar, canteens, basket ball ground, volleyball net in hostel. There is no CCTV in campus, no playing ground and no proper spots where we can gather with our squad. The laboratories are well maintained. The classrooms are neat but have no AC and no CCTV. Only one class has smart board. The CS lab is big and Air-conditioned. Due to construction, it's all messy everywhere.

    Academics

I am pursuing B. Tech in aerospace engineering. It's a 4 year program. The curriculum of aerospace is really amazing, they will teach more than what is required in aerospace, which makes us unique in a crowd. The faculties are really good and supportive.

    Placements

As stated by our Dean in his lectures, the placement in our college is really good but I feel it is good for CS students as previous year one student got off-campus placement in Amazon. Other branch students usually opt for higher studies and then go for off-campus placements. They also conduct workshop and seminars regarding placements for seniors.

    Value for Money

My tution fees per year is 60000 and an additional 15000 is charged in the name of academic development fees. They also take exam fees separately. My fees is less as compare to other colleges. The money is worth in college. The hostel fees is 80000 per year but they do not provide lockers and no proper food is being served.

    Campus Life

The campus life is not so good. As everywhere it is mess due to construction. There are less trees under which we can sit. They do not organise any fest or functions for entertainment. They only organise seminars, debates and conferences. No party for new year students. The sports faculty is least interested in sending teams to competition. The campus is situated in Tambaram which is near to railway station and 18km to Chennai airport. There is a lake behind college. There is a hospital inside.

    Supportive staff but many loopholes

    Verified Review
    College Infrastructure

The college is good. The classrooms are neat and clean, but have no CCTV. Sometimes, drinking water finishes. Some of the laboratories are well maintained but some are not at all good and workshop building is currently under construction. Till now I have seen only one class with smart board. The CS lab is very big and air-conditioned. There are 2 canteens in campus.

    Academics

I am pursuing B.tech in aerospace engineering. The teachers are really sweet and supportive. In previous exams, they helped me a lot as I was ill. Many teachers have an experience of more than 20 years. They all are really awesome in their field of interest. The syllabus is not so lengthy but in quality wise is good enough.

    Placements

The placement in college is good. As told by admission officer that, many students have being placed in MNCs with average salary package of 4-5LPA. One CS student got placed in Amazon, it was usually off-campus placement. Most of the students opt for further studies and then apply for jobs. The college also supports students in this by organising several workshops and events.

    Value for Money

My tuition fees is 60000 per year and an additional 15000 is charged as academic development fees. I feel that, the fees is less as compare to many colleges. The fees is worth as the quality of education is also good. The hostels is not at all good. They collect 82500 per year for non-AC. There is no lockers, no proper food and many restrictions in boys hostels. In girls hostels, restrictions are more worse. In fact, girls can't do video call in their hostel and has to come back in hostel at 5pm

    Campus Life

Campus life in bharath is satisfactorily good. There is no playing ground. They have constructed medical buildings in ground. We use to go out daily for a walk. There is a lake behind college. The drainage system is not at all good of college. In rainy seasons, it's full of water in campus. The campus is located in Tambaram area. It is around 4 km from Tamabaram railway station. It is around 18km from Chennai airport. There is a hospital inside campus for emergencies.

Jobs are available both on-campus and off-campus. Mostly students here pursue for higher studies and then apply for off-campus jobs.

As the quality of education they are providing is expectable in the amount of fees they are charging. The money is worth in the college. The hostel fees is 82500 per year. It is not at all worth. As their is no locker for students and even there are some limitations on food.

    Campus Life

The campus life in college is really fun. There are different spots where you can sit with your squads and enjoy. The campus is located in Tambaram. It is around 3.5km from Tamabaram station and around 18km from Chennai airport. There is hospital inside campus only for emergenices.

    Others

There are different libraries for different departments. The management of college is not good. They show least interest in fests, functions and cultural activities. They only organise seminars, debates and conferences for study purpose only.

Have a question related to Bharath Institute of Higher Education and Research, Chennai ?

Hi, My name is Surya Teja.Recently completed BTech from Bharath University and placed at Chubb limited for data scientist role.I need to learn deep learning and NLP.Can anyone guide me how to start deep learning and NLP.And any recommended course for deep learning and NLP??

    Hello
Deep Learning is known as a small branch of the Artificial Intelligence. With the help of a Deep Learning training, we can instruct our computers to learn for themselves in a way that gives us actionable outcomes.

Following are the Best Deep Learning Courses:

Best Overall Course: Deep Learning Nanodegree (Udacity)

    Deep Learning Specialization (Coursera)

Complete Guide to TensorFlow for Deep Learning with Python (Udemy)

Deep Learning A-Z: Hands-On Artificial Neural Networks (Udemy)

An Introduction to Practical Deep Learning (Coursera)

    Deep Learning, by 3Blue1Brown (YouTube)

Deep Learning: Recurrent Neural Networks in Python (Udemy)

Advanced AI: Deep Reinforcement Learning in Python (Udemy)

    Deep Learning with Keras (Pluralsight)

    Introduction to Deep Learning (Coursera)

The best Institutes for Deep Learning Courses in India are listed below:

    Analytixlabs
    Upgrad
    Coursera
    Udemy
    Jigsaw Academy
    Manipal ProLearn
    Udacity
    TalentSprint
    Great Learning
    ZekeLabs

The best way to learn about it is to go do it. Rob's suggestions of an intro course or a tutorial is a great way to get started, but really what you should do is try to solve some problem with NLP.

Here's how you might do that. Go download NLTK (Natural Language Toolkit). Then build some software that does something cool.

    Here are some ideas:

Run a bunch of different POS taggers on some text and characterize the differences. Which is better for what domain? Do they make similar mistakes?
Build a sentiment analysis system and run it on a bunch of reviews, or tweets about something. See what mistakes it's making and figure out how to make it better. What features should you use that can help it do better? Find out if people liked the Interview, or whatever the movie du jour is!
Write a system to detect spam reviews on review sites. You can find a huge dataset here: Detect Fake Reviews and Reviewers or a smaller one here: http://myleott.com/op_spam/.
Build a system for some other language. Text segmentation in Chinese is fun and hard, but really pick any problem and apply it to another language, and you'll learn a huge amount about your assumptions about what works and what doesn't work.
None of these things will work well on your first try -- a key lesson in NLP, actually -- so the main thing you should focus on, once you get a baseline system working, is to figure out how to make your system better. That's 90+% of the effort in NLP.

    Best of luck
