Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Biotechnology Engineering is a four-year (8 semesters) full-time undergraduate engineering program offered at the B R Ambedkar National Institute of Technology Jalandhar.

Eligibility Criteria

Must have passed class XII (or equivalent) Board examination with a minimum of five subjects and secured at least 75% aggregate marks. The aggregate marks for SC, ST and PwD candidates should be at least 65%.

Admission Details

B Tech level, students are admitted through JEE (main) Examination conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi. As per the direction of the MHRD 50% of the seats in NITs will be filled from eligible candidates of States where NITs are located and rest 50% will be filled on All India Merit basis. The admissions are made centrally by CSAB (Central seat allocation board) as per the directions of MHRD.

College Infrastructure

Good, not like top iits but good, except the fact that it still needs more upgradation as rhere is veey much empty space and many places like pool especially for summer season can be built but all in one place according to myself

My overall experience at the college has been positive.

College Infrastructure

The college has good infrastructure with well-maintained classrooms, laboratories and library facilities. Wi-Fi is available in most academic areas, and the campus is clean and green. Hostel facilities are decent with proper security and basic amenities. There is still scope for improvement in recreational spaces and some hostel facilities, but overall the infrastructure supports students well.
