According to placement drive both the colleges are same as their placement statistics are somewhat same.

IIIT Lucknow:

Highest salary offered - 28 LPA

Average salary offered - 11.37 LPA

IIT BHILAI:

Highest salary offered - 20 LPA

Average salary offered - 11+ LPA

But the sad part

hello aspirant,

both IIIT lucknow and IIIT gwalior are good but in terms of placements iiit gwalior is much better .Its campus and infrastructure is also great but you have to do hardwork for admission in this..highest placement for iiit gwalior till now is approx 38 lpa and average package

I will tell you pro and cons of both.

Iiest pros-

1. It is well established college with average placement around 9lpa for cse in 2019 lesser than average iiit and nits for cse.
2. Highly recognized in bengal

Cons-

1. It is more like a regional state college where 90% are bengali.

IIIT Lucknow has got a better placements and coding culture , great location ,better syllabus which is more focussed on CS and IT and carries a better tag with it but IIEST

Both the courses and institutes are great so it really depends on which course interests you the most. If you are interested in placements and faculty then I can give you a short idea but the rest is up to you.

As far as I have research for this I don't think there is any fee waiver scheme available at  iiit lucknow in this academic year. But there are up scholarships available in which you can apply.
