If one wants to compare between these two then iit jodhpur mechanical must be chosen first as one does not wants to loose the iit tag , its prestigious. Also both are new colleges are fully equipped with excellent faculty and infrastructure . Placements are also quite good .

Both the institutes are pretty new. Secondly, I believe since you are getting Mechanical also, you shouldnt let go of the IIT Tag. Choose IIT jodhpur Mechanical.

If the choice was between institutes like IIT jodhpur and IIIT Allahabad or NIT Trichy, then maybe decision could be taken otherwise.
