Eligibility Criteria
- All candidates admitted through JAM should have a Bachelors’ degree.
- In the qualifying degree, the aggregate marks or cumulative grade point average (CGPA) / CPI (without rounding-off and taking into account all subjects, including languages and subsidiaries, all years combined) should be at least 55% or 5.5 out of 10 for general / OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) category candidates and 50% or 5.0 out of 10 for scheduled castes (SC) / scheduled tribes (ST) and Persons with Disabilities (PwD) category candidates.
- If CGPA / CPI is on a different scale, it would be linearly mapped to a scale on 10. The percentage of marks for letter grades / CGPA obtained by the candidate shall be decided by the Institute.
Admission Details
IIT(ISM) admits student in all the M.Sc. Programme through JAM only.

College Infrastructure
The infrastructure of the campus is decent, with new academic buildings and old hostels. The labs are equipped with the latest equipment, and all amenities are available. There are books available in the library for all the semesters. In laboratories and classrooms, there are smart board facilities, and Wi-Fi is available with a speed of 30–40 Mbps.
My experience in ISM as a student.
College Infrastructure
Ism is one of the leading institutes in india in terms of mining, geology, geophysics and petrolium study. All types of necessary things are available here. Library is very good and equiped with wide no of books.
