Hi Lokmani, yes there is no age/qualification barrier to take CAT as long as you are a graduate and have the requisite academic scores if any. You may have work experience too.

No, Indira Gandhi National Open University doesn't conduct any admission test for BA Economics. The admission is solely based on marks obtained in 10+2 or equivalent. If you have qualified 10+2 or equivalent, then you're perfectly eligible for the test. You need to fill the application from the official website.

Indira Gandhi National Open University in New Delhi provides distance education. It is good for the candidates who are willing to appear for some competitive government examinations. Infrastructure depends on the study centres provided by IGNOU.

IGNOU has a good study centre and online facilities.the website and study materials access are helpful but sole centres need better classroom and faster support for students during admissions and exams.

IGNOU provides good study materials , online classes, and practical support through regional centres. Labs and facilities for B.Sc biochemistry are descent, but campus infrastructure is limited compared to other regular university.
