24 MonthsThe M.Sc is a unique programme with a mixed student intake from the Life sciences, Physical sciences, and Engineering Sciences. The specialization in computational biology introduces topical skills in high demand such as Omics Analysis, Molecular Dynamics Simulations with Drug Discovery and Systems Biology while the specialization in complex systems introduces advanced topics such as non-linear dynamics / statistical mechanics applications in complex systems & computational finance.
The coursework leading to the award of an M.Sc. in Computational and Integrative Sciences shall be for a period of four semesters (two monsoon and two winter semesters) with a compulsory requirement for submission of a research-based dissertation at the end of the fourth semester.
A student who successfully completes the first two years of the M.Sc.-Ph.D. integrated program (M.Sc. phase) with a CGPA of 4.0 and above would be awarded an M.Sc. degree.
A minimum of 55% marks in Bachelor’s degree in any branch of Basic and Applied Science or Technology, including medicine and engineering disciplines.
Admission is Based on merit-Basis of their performance in the Computer Based Test (CBT) Entrance Exam.
