Course Overview

The Cell Biology online programme aims to give the candidates a basic idea about biochemistry, genetics, and molecular cell biology. Cell Biology is an interdisciplinary subject which provides detailed knowledge about the structure & functions of cells and cellular components.

The Cell Biology certification course by Swayam, which is an undergraduate-level course, is divided into different modules. Each module will focus on a different area of cellular biology. Topics include the structure and function of prokaryotic and eukaryotic cells, cell organelles, cellular communication, membrane and organelle structure, and function, among others.

Moreover, the Cell Biology certification programme takes around 12 weeks to complete. Dr. K. Sanatombi, assistant professor in the Department of Biology at Manipal University, will instruct the course. It is an online course replete with video lectures, assignments, quizzes, and study material. You will also receive a certificate once you take the end term examination and secure the qualifying marks.
