24 MonthsMaster of Computer Applications (MCA) Lateral Entry is a full time two-year postgraduate degree course and it is offered by the JC Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA, Faridabad.
Eligibility Criteria
A candidate must have passed the BCA /B.Sc. (IT /Computer) of minimum three years duration from a recognized university with Maths at 10+2 level or at Graduation level. The candidate must have clearly passed with an aggregate of 50% marks (45% for SC candidates) at graduation level. Result awaited (Qualifying Exam.) candidates can apply.
Note: The Students admitted against MCA Lateral Entry (LEET) students will join in the 3rd Semester with MCA students admitted in the year 2019 (3 Year Scheme) though their total duration will be 2 years i.e. from 3rd semester to 6th semester.
Admission Details
- Admission will be made on the basis of merit of the Entrance Exam conducted by the University (with the students to be admitted in MCA 1st semester).
- If seats remain vacant the admission will be based on the merit of the qualifying examination.
