In this programme, students examine fundamental concepts in economics including economic systems, microeconomics and macroeconomics, monetary policy and fiscal policy, international trade and finance, labor markets and business cycles. Ph.D. in economics is the highest degree awarded by the School of Humanities, K.R. Mangalam University for this field of study. The purpose of a Ph.D. programme in economics is to prepare students to be able to conduct original research on an advanced level and ultimately contribute new knowledge through their work.
Eligibility Criteria
The candidate should have a postgraduate degree or its equivalent from a recognized University, in a respective discipline, with a minimum of 55% marks or a minimum CGPA of 5.5 on a 10 point scale.
