BE Electronics and Communication Engineering is a full-time four-year course offered by Panjab University, Chandigarh and Approved by AICTE

The department has excellent research facilities in the core and emerging areas of Electronics and Communication like Embedded systems, VLSI Design, Photonics, and Optical Communication, Wireless Communication, Microprocessors, Digital Signal Processing, etc. The department is one of the best in the institute having highly qualified faculty and expertise in these areas. The department has always strived to inculcate the very best in students so that they can face the challenges offered to them by the industry. Eligibility Criteria

Must have passed class XII (or equivalent) Board examination with a minimum of five subjects and secured at least 75% aggregate marks. The aggregate marks for SC, ST and PwD candidates should be at least 65%.

Admission Details

Admissions to the B.Tech. programmes are made once a year in July based on rank in JEE- (Main), conducted on an All India level by CBSE.

College Infrastructure

Though overall infra of PEC is not even considerable, just old buildings and campus is done. But I am in ECE, our department is very good and well furnished, ECE labs are also well maintained and newly made, Everything is available in our branch department, but other departments don't have basic things and are poorly maintained like Civil, Mech departments are poorest departments of PEC, you will not say these are departments of Tier-1 College. Mess food is kind of okay

College Infrastructure

The college has a great infrastructure with the campus spread over an area of 150 acres. There are different labs for different streams which are well equipped with all the necessary instruments. Also there is a separate academic block for each department.

My experience has been really good.

College Infrastructure

Yes the college has all the necessary infrastructure and other amenities. Department labs are well equipped. The gymnasium and other sport fields are properly maintained and used well. Living spaces and food available is hygienic.
