Bachelor of Technology Computer Science and Engineering with a specialization in Data Science is four years full-time UG program in engineering offered by the Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai and approved by AICTE.

Eligibility Criteria

A Pass 10+2 level examination with Mathematics, Physics and any one of the subjects (Chemistry/ Computer Science/ Electronics/ Information Technology/ Biology/ Informatics Practices/ Biotechnology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies/ Entrepreneurship) with a minimum of 50% aggregate in three subjects (45% in case of students belongs to reserved category)

College Infrastructure

I belong to the 2021–2025 batch from the Data Science department. The placement opportunities in our course were decent, with many students getting opportunities in IT, analytics, and software-related roles. Around 70–80% of students from our course were placed through campus recruitment and referrals. The highest package offered was around 8 LPA, the average package ranged between 3.5–5 LPA, and the lowest package was around 2.5 LPA. Companies related to software development, analytics, testing, and IT services participated in the recruitment process. A good number of students also secured internships in domains such as Data Science, Software Development, Testing, and Web Technologies through college support and personal efforts.

College Infrastructure

The college infrastructure is well-developed with modern classrooms, well-equipped laboratories, and a spacious library that supports academic learning. The campus includes good Wi-Fi connectivity, clean hostels, sports facilities, and a hygienic cafeteria. Overall, the environment is conducive for both academic and extracurricular activities, though some areas can be improved with better maintenance and upgraded equipment

College Infrastructure

Everything is nice and pleasent. All the necessary infrastructure is there and everything is well maintained. The campus is big and everything is mainted well. Overall the environment is a clean, organised and comfortable for the students to study.
